'Stand Still' features an extended cast of ‘friends’ including the vocals of close friend Micky Green, the highly respected Sydney-born-Paris-based pop singer whose sweeping melodies add bubblegum sweetness to an otherwise high-tempo single. The final mix also comes courtesy of James David, one half of mysterious UK duo Snakehips. Old friends of Micky’s, Jimmy and Hugo have also chosen to work with another familiar face for the official music video in Director Dave Ma, the creative force behind the ARIA 2013 nominated clip for much lauded single 'Clair De Lune'.

‘Stand Still’ will be available with three incredible remixes, featuring Sydney’s Wave Racer, Future Classic alumni (and Lithuania’s Producer of the Year) Mario Basanov, and New York’s Com Truise, who brings his synth-heavy sounds to the table.

A fusion of all our musical loves.. A bit of Breaks, bit of hip hop, some lounge, a little bit of soul and of course a little sprinkling of silly. This track was originally written for konami's "Beatmania" - the original PlayStation DJ simulation game.  We mixed a lot of the other tracks on that game for Konami too.. Regardless.. we were totally rubbish at the game. How does that work?

This track also made it onto another playstation game (SSX) a Kelloggs commercial and a Hollywood movie (although I forget which one)

With fabric 72, rhadoo follows his Romanian compatriot and [a:rpia:r] cohort Petre Inspirescu onto the fabric mix series, with an intoxicating, atmospheric aural excursion. The vast majority of the tracks are unreleased and unheard before this project, representing a new and burgeoning scene in Eastern Europe. Letting the music do the talking as usual,  rhadoo has personally selected 4 tracks from the mix to press exclusively to a pair of limited edition vinyl 10”s.

On the first disc, Adrian Niculae’s mechanical ‘conTRASt’ juxtaposes nagging metallic sounds with a rumbling low end, whilst on the reverse Yourayo’s more organic ‘Blueprint’ features warm synths, a melancholic piano refrain and a rounded bassline.

The second sampler sees ‘Fast Lane 4’ by Traian Chereches live up to its name, the clever weaving of elements maintaining urgency throughout, and Vlad Caia’s ‘Ticktockclockityclock’ closes out the selection with a suitably metronomic groove.

All tracks are exclusive to this pair of vinyl 10”s, which are strictly limited to 300 copies each, and the fabric 72 release. Caked Up, the DJ/producer duo comprised of Las Vegas natives Oscar Wylde and Vegas Banger, are no strangers to internet, musical and social media success. Over the past year, they’re raked in some of the highest streaming numbers in electronic music, the minute and a half long preview of “Thirsty” having over 1.8 million views of its own. Choosing well, the duo collaborated with Meaux Green, the rising trap/twerk lord who’s received support from the like of Doctor P, DJ Snake, Dillon Francis, Diplo, TWRK, Mayhem and Henry Fong to note but a few. 

As much as you’d want to call it a guilty pleasure, guilt isn’t exactly the emotion that surfaces once you’re submerged beneath this outrageously fun collab! “Thirsty” highlights each artists’ well known ability to create enormously infectious beats that somehow plant themselves in your speakers, your awareness of their brilliance growing with each listen. The melody is soaked with droplet samples and a underscored by drum rolls and claps that bring a classic twerk feel to the track.

We normally wouldn't do things like this but too many people have asked for a download. We're turning a blind eye to our own judgement on cheesy-mashups. So here is one of the bootlegs we made for the 90s mix. We've pulled it out of the project for your enjoyment.

This encapsulates 1999 for us. Cassius - Feeling For You was one of the first records we ever bought. The fact that it had a Les Rythmes Digitales Remix makes it even better. We weren't to know at 12 years old that this song would still be just as playable 14 years later,  and how much of an impact both Cassius and Stuart Price would have on our music tastes while learning to DJ. And what more needs to be said about Outkast? One of the greatest hip-hop acts to ever exist. They were the soundtrack to every house party since the beginning of high school. Big Boi and Andre 3000 in the same studio. How could that go wrong?
