Orpheus Festival France Teaser 09/04/23

This is a presentation of BIOHACKER's debut album, "Audio Molecule", blended with some fresh unreleased tunes. Biohacker aka Michael is no stranger to the psychedelic scene. He has already appeared under various guises, such as the solo psy-trance project Meander, the experimental downtempo adventures of 3.14, and has conspired with fellow dancefloor agitator Michael Chavales (Ridden, Drip-Drop) to form Witchcraft. Michael’s constantly evolving perspective on dance music and the scene urgently demanded a new medium of expression. This is how the Biohacker project was born. The project has rapidly evolved into a pandemonium of gravity-defying baselines and intelligent shifting grooves, interwoven in a totally unpredictable psychedelic sequence. Watch out for your genes – they are about to dance away from you!

Fraktal Forest Festival 2025

It has been one year since me and @mascalito dropped our first EP together. So I figured it is time to bring it properly to SoundCloud. The mini mix was here before but the full tracks were only on Bandcamp and the streaming platforms. That changes now. I will be releasing one full track every two weeks. Make sure to follow so you do not miss them. This first one is one of my absolute favorites. Funky melodies, heavy groove, and that hypnotic loop that just grabs you. It builds and builds into a total catharsis moment. Made for stomping straight out of the Matrix. Or maybe back in. The full EP is already available for download on Bandcamp. And yes, we are deep in the studio cooking up Episode 2. The goal is a 2026 release and we will keep you posted on the journey. In the beginning Petran started his music journey by exploringnumerous music genres while participating as a guitarist/composerin various rock projects.
Steadily his passion for sound grew warmer and lead him to studyin depth the science of sound for over a decade.At the same time he discovered psychedelic trance musicand immersed himself in an ongoing voyage which would leadhim on a global excursion as a musician as well as an evolvingentity.
Petrans music can be described as an attempt to sonicalyexplore the perpetual nature of our universe by mechanicallymanipulating air pressure, redirecting electronic currents andstimulating altered states of mind.

Originally from the north of France, Quentin aka Dj Exae is a big fan of underground music. He discovered Psytrance and its universe through his many musical explorations. The Forest, with its ambiances and sonorities, got the better of him, making him the DJ we know today.  

In 2018, Exae decided to get behind the decks and finally share his vision of the Forest: dark, organic and swampy. At the same time, he joins the Essência team as resident DJ, followed by Fraktal Forest for the same role in 2019.

In early 2020, he joins Phlegethon Records, and in summer 2022 Funky Freaks Records as label DJ.
