As a painter solely interested in white, Ryman's exploration of the relationship between chromatic and achromatic tones finds its counterpart in the diverse textures and timbres interwoven throughout the mix. A varied range of electronic elements invites listeners to explore sonic landscapes akin to Ryman's exploration of the subtle nuances within a seemingly uniform color. The layered sonic shifts throughout the mix pay homage to the concept of creating complexity within apparent simplicity."

TORIMIMASATAKA is an experimental sound and visual artist operating out of Osaka, Japan. With releases on The Weevil Neighbourhood, CREDO and his own label nuoac, Masataka has forged a unique sonic identity rooted in dub techno and electroacoustic sound design.

Void continues in the same exploratory vein, capturing the haunting atmospheres and rhythmic churnings of some yawning space between. Floating geometries wrapped in a numinous glow. Waning moons. Night into day.
