A highly-regarded talent established at the forefront of Tokyo's vibrant underground club scene, and a resident of renowned techno club VENT Tokyo since 2018, mu"he has built an unquestionable reputation as a versatile DJ with incredible depth of selection. Now based in Berlin, she is earning a bright reputation in Europe as well for her long dedication to the dance music community and authentic love for music.

With a broad style forged by long days of digging crates and stumbling upon all sorts of electronic music gems, mu”he’s techno sets move far beyond the latest subgenres, incorporating influences from 80’s Japanoise, 90’s old school rave and 2000’s left-field electronica. Her depth of knowledge allows her to build wide-ranging sets that meld cutting edge sounds with forgotten classics, interspersing tough physical grooves with moments of timeless dancefloor euphoria. mu”he’s style is imbued with the purpose of preserving the essential and treasured values of dance music that moves hearts and bodies irrespective of time period or genre.

mu"he founded the eclectic FUSION party at renowned Tokyo techno club VENT in 2019. FUSION proved to be a disruptive influence on a stagnating Tokyo techno scene, with the VENT resident curating progressive and varied line-ups featuring a forward-thinking generation of fresh local talent. An influence that can still be felt today, as Tokyo’s underground scene continues to blossom in unexpected directions, with the new school leading the charge.

Based in Berlin since May 2023, mu”he has been quickly booking appearances at some of Berlin’s best clubs and festivals across Europe in the last year–most notably: Whole Festival, Berlin Atonal, La Nature Festival In Belgium, and an array of Berlin clubs including ://about blank, RSO, and Tresor. She continues to maintain a busy touring schedule in Asia as well, having toured Japan and China twice in the last year. 

In May 2024, she founded her own label PARNASSUS with the vision of creating timeless dance music for bold, sexy, and free dancefloors and released her first EP featuring two original tracks and remixes by two of Japan’s most prominent producers: DJ SHUFFLEMASTER, a techno producer with close ties to Berlin’s legendary club and label Tresor since the 90s, and Mars89, a singular and important talent in Tokyo’s underground scene. 



勢いを増す東京アンダーグラウンドクラブシーンの最前線で高い評価を得るmu"heは、2018年から東京の名門テクノクラブ「VENT」のレジデントを務め、幅広い選曲と深い音楽的洞察力で揺るぎない存在感を築いてきた。現在はベルリンを拠点とし、ダンスミュージックコミュニティへの長年の献身と音楽への真摯な愛情から、ヨーロッパでも高い注目を集めている。

mu"heの音楽スタイルは、長い歳月をかけてレコードを掘り起こし、多彩な電子音楽を発見してきた経験に基づく。彼女のテクノセットは80年代のノイズ・エクスペリメンタル、90年代のオールドスクールレイブ、2000年代のレフトフィールド・エレクトロニカといった幅広い影響を取り入れ、最先端のサウンドと忘れ去られた名曲を融合させる。タフでフィジカルなグルーヴとダンスフロアの高揚感を織り交ぜながら、ダンスミュージックの本質的な価値を追及する。

2023年5月からベルリンを拠点に活動を開始し、Whole Festival、Berlin Atonal、Lunchmeat Festival(Czech)、La Nature Festival（Belgium）といったフェスティバルや、://about blank、RSO、Tresorなどベルリンの主要クラブでのプレイを次々と実現させている。アジアでも精力的にツアーを行い、今秋は日本、中国、タイ、台湾を跨ぐアジアツアーを成功させた。

2024年5月には自身のレーベル「PARNASSUS」を立ち上げ、「大胆で自由なダンスフロアのためのタイムレスな音楽」というモットーのもと1st EPをリリース。オリジナルトラック2曲に加え、ベルリンのレーベルTresorと親交の深いプロデューサーDJ SHUFFLEMASTERと、東京のアンダーグラウンドシーンで重要な存在であるMars89によるリミックスが収録されている。

Federico Scavo was born near Florence in Italy. Inspired by the art and culture of his surroundings, he showed talent from an early age as a musician, composer and producer.
Driven by results, Federico spends his life working in the studio and devoting himself to his passion of djing. His remarkable talent has attracted the attention of artists such as Kaskade and Pete Tong, who choose his tracks for their sets in the best clubs around the globe.

He sits down in 1994 to compose “This is the night” - his very first tune with New System, which soon becomes an international success, achieving Platinum status in Canada where sales reach 400,000.
In 2002 “Another brick in the wall” – officially approved for release by Pink Floyd’s Roger Waters – is another worldwide success, winning him a “Disco D’Oro” in Italy for selling 28,000 copies.

Not long after that, Federico applies his golden remix touch to tunes by world famous artists such as Bob Sinclar (“A far l’amore”) and John Acquaviva (“Wiki Leaks”) In a September 2012 interview Bob Sinclar recently, when asked to name the djs to watch – the ones to bet on – answered ‘first and foremost Federico Scavo.’

In 2011 the release of “Strump” marked a seminal point in his career. The track became one of the most popular in Italy, notching up 3,000,000 viewers across Youtube channels and making it to number 3 in the iTunes sales chart.

As his own record label Area94 continues to boost his popularity on the international scene, his productions are increasingly in demand from high profile labels such as Hotfingers, Pacha recordings and Toolroom, with whom he has signed a long-term collaboration - becoming part of the “home artists”.

“I DO” on Toolroom is supported by Tiesto, Kaskade, Erick Morillo and Roger Sanchez. And Federico Scavo "Aniba" has been included on RELEASE YOURSELF 12 by Roger Sanchez who often invites Federico to be a guest on the Release Yourself radio show.
Most amazing of all are his dj sets. Federico plays his own tracks – remixing and mashing in his studio so that each dj set is unique. He describes his own style as: ‘…house but a bit funky - winking at the most innovative and contemporary electro - eclectic with some references to the 70s, combined with some sexy tribal…a blended sound dressed with effects’.

To keep himself fit, Federico travels throughout Italy blessing the best clubs with his sound, while on the international scene he has played in clubs such as Nikki beach Miami, Toolroom night @ ADE, Pacha in Sharm El Sheik, Kos on the island of Greece, Space Menorca, Five Sixty Vancouver, Shore House Moscow.

MADDN steht für unverwechselbare Sounds gepaart mit den exklusivsten Remixes. Irgendwo im Bereich Future House und EDM schafft es der junge DJ immer wieder die Leute mitzureißen und definiert so seinen ganz eigenen Stil: unverwechselbar und unverkennbar.
