For the 10th mix in our series, we have a debut and a homecoming combo courtesy of Birmingham-based @bushfyre. Anything is possible when you open yourself up to some Black Magic! This mix marks a return to form for bushfyre where the intention and artistic influences are clear as day. Weightless ambient gives way to rich, melodic UK garage before shifting to club-ready techno and back again. We are treated to a few unreleased originals — including "Tokyo," bushfyre’s upcoming debut single on Black Magic Recordings (out November 20th) — interspersed among tracks from friends and scene stalwarts such as pricklypearsound and no.debris. Deftly spanning the continuum of UK dance music, bushfyre’s “Homecoming” mix can hold its own on the dancefloor and also be enjoyed at home.
