NBC9 is a Canadian drum and bass producer whose sound blends atmosphere, rhythm, and precision. Releasing through Embassy 9 Recordings and DNBB Records, NBC9 focuses on clean production, strong structure, and evolving energy that moves between heavy and melodic. Each track is built for depth and replay value rather than trends.

On February 13, 2026, he delivers Fragments 2.0, a major follow up to the original Fragments project. The new release features remixes from @user-449697299, @Psidream, @quoonemusic, @Omneum, @brukout_ca, @iconsdnb, the-mind-hackers, @djNORTY, @YASUKI1214, @d0shi-music, and @diodeofficial, each reinterpreting tracks from State of Control through their own lens, spanning deep, dark, and high energy variations of drum and bass. Like its predecessor, which showcased Exile, YASUKI, Xtinctor, Lunatronic, AGRO, Irontype, and JRace + Albert White, Fragments 2.0 continues NBC9’s vision of connecting global artists through shared sonic experimentation.

NBC9 also recently signed Basic Shock to LoveThatBass, via DJ Ollie, expanding his release footprint while continuing to build momentum around Embassy 9 Recordings.

As the head of Embassy 9 Recordings, NBC9 has created a home for his own output as well as a space for collaborators to explore forward thinking drum and bass. His productions are designed with a dual purpose: to resonate in personal listening settings and to hit with power on dancefloors.

Before his return to drum and bass, NBC9 built an underground reputation under the name Influenza in the early 2000s nu skool breakbeat scene. Releases on Pure Funk, Illeven Eleven, Sponge, and Epidemic reached audiences across North America and the UK, with his music played in iconic venues such as Fabric London.

Two decades on, NBC9 stands with more clarity and intent than ever, blending experience with innovation to drive a sound that continues to evolve.

Vygo, by his real name Sipos Attila, officially started playing music in 2006 at a series of events called "Experiment" organized with high school friends, followed by residencies in several clubs in his hometown, sharing the booth with artists like Nima Gorji, Livio & Roby, Audiofly, Satoshi Tomiie, Nic Fanciulli, Premiesku, Pushkarev or Djuma Soundsystem. He was also intrigued by visuals at that time, taking care of the visual side of the parties when he was not playing music.

His path drove him through the romanian electronic music scene and together with Aleka, his collegue, they got gigs in most of them big romanian cities, but also in the UK, Germany, Netherlands, France, Italy, Greece or Hungary.

Since 2012 he's part of Proudly Made By Us, a team of good friends from his hometown responsible for well-known events such as "Dor de Munte" or "Dancing Mountains", organized in the mountains of Transylvania. They've hosted many club events also, and alltogether he had the chance to play alongside the majority of the well-known romanian techno scene collegues, and foreign artists like Ion Ludwig, Onur Özer, Audio Werner, Vera, Margaret Dygas, Alex Niggerman, Boris Werner.

He prefers sliding smoothly trough different genres from techno to house, or minimal, deep, mystic or moody, sometimes even atmospheric drumandbass, as Alter Vygo. He had the pleasure to play under this alias alongside names like Makoto, MC Conrad, Seba, Paul SG, Lowqui, Euphorics and more.

No matter what musical genre he plays, the idea is the musical trip itself, one that frees your soul and makes the body dance freely.
