This week's Local Selection is from Dublin native and rising DJ and producer Aoise, as we invite her to soundtrack your Wednesday afternoon.

The young DJ and producer is a graduate of the Sunil Sharpe, Doug Cooney and DeFeKT school of excellence, having studied DJ techniques and music production at BIFE. There have been many high hitters to come from this course and after hearing Aoise's take on tunes we look forward to what's in store for her.

Her sound stems from dark, dubby techno that has developed and matured through the years, taking inspiration from the likes of Ø [Phase], Sterac, Oscar Mulero and Sleeparchive. 

Having shared lineups with some of Europe's heavy hitters Christoph Faust (FKA Inhalt Der Nacht), Sunil Sharpe, Tommy Holohan and Shampain, we expect to see much more of her in the future. 

You can catch Aoise supporting Clouds this Friday in Dublin, plus at the Life Festival launch party on April 29th in Mullingar.

Now defunct, ADAB once curated the Cleveland based Heaven is In You parties alongside colleague Eric Sarley (Ghost Noises) for what became locally known as a labor of love in sonic variety. The sentiment finds itself resurrected here for ADAB's monthly transmissions.

We're excited to welcome Anna Hjalmarsson to the GF series. As a DJ, the Frankfurt-based sound artist is a resident at iconic Offenbach club Robert Johnson and local EOS Radio. She is the founder of the independent label Stoscha which features music by Guenter Råler, Air Max '97, Geocities, and others. In her recent project Echoes from the club, Hjalmarsson entered the empty spaces of Robert Johnson in Frankfurt for a set of field recordings that collected lost sounds and traces of noise from the space, mounting them into a set of samples and loops. The artist does numerous installations that speak to her Scandinavian background and combines her sound design and composition techniques. Her selection for the series is wall-to-wall techno and electronics that clearly show her distinctive style. Lock in!

Cocorico! I got such amazing memories with this awesome club in Riccione Italy. Didn’t play there for 4 years, first it had to close down and then there was this virus. So I was uber happy to be back and it was a total blast, such a good vibe right into the beautiful sunrise. Such an incredible atmosphere in this place, I would say better than ever before, if that is even possible. So great to see so many happy people dancing in this pyramid again. Thanks to everyone for bringing this energy to the night. The set was 3h 20 min in the end. Vegim's journey into the underground began in the mid 90's. At first, music was just a hobby. Once he began collecting records his obsession grew stronger and he invested in his first pieces of music equipment. 1998 was the year Vegim became a full time slave to the underground. He rapidly developed his skills as a DJ and in his Production. The desire to tell his story through music took over and Vegim has never looked back. Earliest experiments in the studio go back to around 2002. Today, Vegim is recognized as one of Techno's most influential artists. Not only a skilled DJ/Producer but also a graphics designer and coneptionalist that has a style unlike any other.

He has released his own tracks and done countless remixes for many of the best known labels in the Techno realm. His tracks and remixes are well supported by dj’s like: Dave Clarke, Laurent Garnier, Chris Liebing, Ben Klock, Marcel Dettmann, Dax J, Slam and many more.
