Bienvenue au club is a Strasbourg-based collective focused on bass music, club music and all sorts of hybrid contemporary electronic music, in which we release fanzines, podcasts and parties of course, questioning the definitions of the word “club” and everything orbiting around it.

Their second release is an ambient compilation with artists including Beatrice, Belle-2-nuit, Cardus, Chaos Angel, Ex.cess, Jjjacob, Jonnnah, LLoydfears, nunu, POL100 & Uccellove.

The compilation is intitled “Au Revoir à la Discothèque”, it’s Bienvenue au club’s ambient flipside. Bienvenue au club being the more dancy, clubby branch of the project, Au Revoir à la Discothèque on the other hand, is focused on more beatless things. After-club, the after-party. Peaktime is over, melancholic pads and abstract structures take over, the rhythm is no longer necessary but sometimes it comes back to remind us of the evening we’ve previously experienced.

SITOI - Kuori I

'Kuori' is a story about a shift in identity following the collapse of reality. The double EP examines gender and sexual identity, mental health, and existence within forced, rigid societal norms.  It's a portrayal of confusion, the relentless hold of anger and loneliness, constant change, and finding softness and tolerance. SITOI transforms the mundane into abstract imagery. Her spoken word poetry is reunited with the familiar unforgivingly abrasive yet somber noise, expanding upon the sonic foundation laid by 'Kyyhky' with more pummelling and techno-infused percussive production.

'Kuori I' explores the cross pressure of sensitivity and callousness, feelings of exclusion and depression. It's a claustrophobic attempt to escape the glass enclosures upheld by societal norms, thrashing through panic attacks and nightmares from warehouses to bathrooms. 'Kuori I' finds solace in the deafening tumult, security in the midst of turmoil.

To be released 29th January via Changeless.
