A Flooded Need is pleased to present ‘Flos Paradisi’, an album born from the efforts of international industrial legend Maurizio Bianchi and sound artist and composer Devid Ciampalini.

Conceived as a cross between a liturgical celebration and an investigation into the ideal of spiritual purity, the album is divided into two sides of exactly 17.17 minutes each, offering different variations on the central concept.

Side A is a a vast soundscape blossoming with bliss and absence: infinite dreamlike pads that surrender to an intense charge of grace and melancholy. Side B, on the other hand, reveals the sinful aspect of the flower, presenting itself as a conflictual and profound communication with the unknown, a deranged ballet of industrial drones, damaged metals and otherworldly voices typical of Maurizio Bianchi's early style.

After his 2024 ‘Particles’ EP, Klpflrtpr returns to EXILES (one final time) with ‘Dark Night of the Soul’, a 26-minute atmospheric breakbeat project combining drum and bass, techno, and ambient elements.

Minimal yet finely detailed, the EP stays precise even at its most vulnerable. Rising from the lowest point of ’Nadir’, Klpflrtpr traces different stages of healing before settling into a newfound amble. The road to acceptance is not light: ‘Dark Night of the Soul’ is less about catharsis than endurance, following the beautifully unspectacular process of letting go—working through patterns and sorting them out.
