"Kālī is the Goddess of Time and Change. Although sometimes presented as dark and violent, she is a destructive and creative mother. Her earliest incarnation as a figure of annihilator of evil forces still has some influence."

Creating music, singing and dancing is what moves Kāli the most. When she was younger, she helped launch a punk rock band called Pipeline with some classmates, but soon discovered being in a band was not her passion and she decided to do music on her own.

Being a fan of the work of Alan Wilder (former member of the band Depeche Mode) and Techno music, she wanted to try her hand at DJing as well as Producing. She creates deep,sensual and dark sounds mixed with a touch of her Tamil culture like in the song "Night Wire".

Kali has done remixes and covers of songs such as "Cola" by Lana Del Rey which she did with her friend Laury Swan, a singer, and "Galang" by M.I.A.
