The angel spreads her wings, distant memories of the waking world still buzzing in the back of her head as she orients herself. This place is familiar to her, but she's never viewed it in such acute detail. She's used to clouded vision from flurries of snow falling, so strong she can't see her own mitted hands in front of her face. But now, the sky clears, stars parting for her to make her descent into her darker dream. On one hand, the clarity is nice, but on the other... it's unfamiliar. After years of habit and routine, this change means something is wrong.
