I Mitomani Beat si sono formati a Roma nella primavera del 2010 con l'intento di ricreare le atmosfere tipiche della rivoluzionaria stagione del beat italiano. Grazie ad un'approfondita ricerca dei pezzi, la cura del suono, l'uso di strumentazione d'epoca e non ultimo un look adeguato, ogni loro concerto si trasforma in un autentico tuffo nel passato. 
Il repertorio comprende pezzi originali, seconde versioni (cioè pezzi dell'epoca in inglese tradotti in italiano) e cover tra pezzi famosi (come "Tutto nero", "Bang bang" o "Ragazzo di strada") ed altri meno conosciuti ma ugualmente coinvolgenti.
L'esordio è avvenuto nel giugno del 2010 e da allora hanno suonato in alcuni importanti locali della capitale quali il Circolo degli Artisti, l'Angelo Mai, il Traffic (di spalla ai britannici Badrracudas), partecipando tra l'altro al "Twiggy party", al “Giovedissimo”, al “Supersanto's”, al “Cinsano Village”, alla “Notte Magnetica” ed esibendosi in numerosi festival in giro per l'Italia.
Dal giugno 2010 hanno pubblicato tre demo e nel febbraio del 2014 è uscito il loro primo album di pezzi originali dal titolo "Fuori dal tempo", prodotto da Area Pirata e Green Cookie Records. La formazione attuale comprende Marco alla voce e chitarra, Stefano al basso, "Il Maestro" all'organo, Orlando alla chitarra solista e Panta alla batteria.

Amidst the turbulent sea of eclectic Detroit bands, The Blue Squares have carved themselves a niche, resurrecting the sounds and styles of past eras and superimposing them onto their own, often more emphatic sound.  Putting aside pretense and cliches, and instead focusing on the music, the quartet delivers a consistent sound that will assuage a longing for soulful sixties rock with a rough edge while appealing equally to the modern palette.  

Their independently released debut album, Hard Times, is available on their website and should provide a glimpse into the souls of The Blue Squares.  It embodies the gritty, unabashed rock of the 1960s.  The interplay of understated lyrics against the backdrop of devious melody, coalesce to form dynamic songs in a style reminiscent of the heyday of timeless rock 'n' roll. Acoustic, electric, or unplugged on the street - however they're heard, The Shrugs have a sound that will leave ears ringing and skin tingling. The alternative folk trio has a love for reinventing their sound, which has influenced the conception of several different EP's and styles of live performance. Captivatingly strong melodies, emotion-driven rhythms, and instrumental diversity hustle The Shrugs into the streets, bars, cafes, and festivals of every town to which they travel, undeniably pulsing an electricity into every listener.

The Shrugs are Brandon Johnas on guitar and vocals, Stephanie Cole on bass and kick-drum, and Caitlin Connelly on lead vocals and percussion. Traveling gypsies that they are, 2013 is a year of exploration and excursion. Originally calling the coastal waters of Vancouver, BC their home, The Shrugs continue to thrive in their nomadic lifestyle as they currently tour North America and draw inspiration from other musicians, artists, and almighty Mother Nature.

The young trio is presently working on their first full-length album, following the release of three successfully received EP's, two of which are produced by well-versed Vancouverite Jeff Dawson. Their first radio single, "This Body" ('Til the World Ends EP), is played Canada-wide on both local and college radio stations, which helps to steadily gain momentum for their upcoming full-length release. The untitled album is scheduled for an online September release, trailing a scheduled western Canada tour, and preceding an extensive tour of the western United States.
