My introduction to techno, electronic music etc, was none other than Paul Oakenfold’s “Essential Mix” Live, from Home @ Space in Ibiza [Ivitha, according to the one and only, Pete Tong]..from there it was all up hill, in the best way possible.  My older brother introduced me to the likes of, what are living and thriving legends of the art of mixing, producing and telling a story via musical masterpieces [cause of our worlds best producers]. 

My taste changed, as they do with most things as we mature and grow in age, like fine wine, or being introduced to a food our taste buds knew that existed, but never tried.  Then came the fun part, when the all so sweet and ahead of its time series, called “Global Underground” & “Nubreed,” catapulted me into a vortex of genres, including to this day, my all time favorite being “PROGRESSIVE HOUSE”. These DJs being: Sasha, John Digweed, Nick Warren, Sander Kleinenberg [until he sold out], Steve Lawler, Deep Dish..Then came my all-time favorite, fresh back then and introduced to the world of electronic and progressive house, thanks to Paul Oakenfold and Perfecto Records. A man who owned the floor at Pacha in Buenos Aires..We call him “el maestro” for a reason, my man and favorite, Hernan Cattaneo!!

His live set with Sasha at Moonoark, blew me away. Then his “Renaissance” series. Now his label Sudbeat along with his Live b2b Nick Warren sets, are hold. My favorites being, @ Loveland every Summer. Fuck, they kill it. 

Then, as Paul did for Hernan, Diggers did for my current fav [alongside Hernan], Guy J.  He found him and gave him a chance.  Lost & Found recordings along with his new label_______crush it.  I can’t get enough. An addiction in my car. Automatically windows down!
