When you think of the earth’s most peaceful and graceful inhabitants, surely sea turtles are one of the first creatures to come to mind. Turtles have been revered in many cultures for their perceived wisdom and longevity. In ancient Chinese, Indian and some indigenous North American mythologies, a turtle (or its legs) carried the world on its back - the ultimate symbol of stability. And of course they’ve also been celebrated as youthful sewer-dwelling, pizza-eating mutant ninjas. Real-life sea turtles have been badly impacted by plastic pollution. Turtles eat plastic bags mistaking them for jellyfish, or die getting tangled in plastic and fishing wire. Almost all species of sea turtle are endangered. That is the reason we want to do something about it. Proceeds from the release will go to Ocean Conservancy to help protect them.

We are excited to announce the third release on the H3O Music series, featuring the incredibly talented Marvel Cinema from Germany. Known for his steady appearances on liquid labels like Fokuz Recordings, Liquid Labs and Liquid Drops, Marvel Cinema brings his signature style to our label with the stunning Friends EP. This release delivers classic liquid flavors perfect for lush summer nights. Each track is crafted with the smooth, melodic soundscapes and deep, rolling basslines that Marvel Cinema is renowned for. Zombie Cats make their debut solo release on Dispatch Recordings with two deep cuts that demonstrate the versatility of their productions.
 
Turning to their analogue studio equipment to create some unique sounds and samples for this release, 'Naus' and 'Exit' are the results of experiments with delay pedals, combined with analogue distortion and filter units from their custom Eurorack setup. 
 
'Naus' was written after a Summer trip to Greece, and 'Exit' during the Autumn/Winter in Austria. The peaceful, Summer vibes of 'Naus' contrast with how longer nights shaped the sound of 'Exit'.
