”As so many great schemes do, it started with a conversation in a pub. After several sporadic releases on Diffrent Music, including his renowned 2013 debut ‘Tongues’, label boss Dexta wanted more music from Fearful. One thing led to another, and suddenly an album was in the works.

The result is ‘Interference’; a body of work that is reflective not only of the personal idiosyncrasies and aspirations of its London-based producer, but of an artist who has truly been set free of expectations.

Harnessing his own inbuilt need to defy convention, and looking to influences such as classical game soundtracks, experimental mastermind Amon Tobin, and the brooding tones of Akkord and Lorn, Fearful has crafted an album that’s unpredictable yet cohesive, and definitive of his aim as an artist.

From the menacing ambient opener ‘Rocinante’, through the glitchy techno of ‘The Traveler’, skewed drum & bass of ‘Pulse 0’ and ‘Through The Mist’, to the roaring drone and pounding metal-inspired drumwork of closer ‘Gold To Dust’, it’s an album that demands full attention and repeat listening.

Nowhere is this free-roaming but pull-no-punches attitude summed up better than the title track. Building through eerie, twisted atmospherics — samples of electromagnetic interference, which can be found throughout the album — it clatters into a domineering breakbeat, before collapsing into a guttural, tribalist techno roller.

Where much of dance music draws on repetition, the concept of ‘Interference’ is simple: progression. Whether that be changing motifs within tracks, switching genres within the album, or developing upon Fearful’s own artistic strengths, it’s an idea never more at home than on Diffrent Music, and we are very proud to present it.”

Yo guys, so basically we're ending this alias because we both want to go our separate ways musically. Joe @jcomma will be releasing more jump-up/roller dnb whereas I @grokebristol will be doing more experimental trappy hip-hoppy stuff. However, before we go, we thought it would be cool to release some of the tunes we've played at our live shows which would otherwise probably never see the light of day. We'll be uploading 10 songs over 5 days all for free download 😵. 
This was another of our very first projects together. The first drop goes crazy and the second drop goes stupid. 2019 is the year modern talking makes a comeback

To close out a wicked 2019 for In:flux Audio, we've decided to pull together 10 tracks from artists both old and new to the roster to bring you 'Free Dubstep Volume 3' just in time for that much needed Christmas stocking filler.

Ali McK & IYZ return for their third outing on the series, as does Hamdi and label founders Tik&Borrow. Dystinkt also makes a welcome return to the series in preparation for his debut EP on the label in early 2020, whilst In:flux regular breaks his Dubstep cherry here with an absolute blinder entitled 'Drips and Drums'.

This time around we have plenty of newcomers to series, with debut tracks from Mungk, Panix, SHVA, Thompson and last but not least Emti, who will be making is debut EP bow on the label in 2020.

Yung.Raj’s “Knoxxville” sees a worldwide release on 4NC¥ 
with collaborations from UK Grime golden-child Jammz & Mumbai’s very own NATE08

After spending roughly a year crafting this project, Yung.Raj is ready with his new EP release. The tracks on this EP cut sharp, wobble hard and draw in the listener’s imagination with its textures, tuff drums and intricate syncopation. Knoxxville’s sonic universe fuses acid basslines on 160 footwork, grime, 808’s jazzy melodies, percussive jungle and beatsy lo-fi programming. 

There are two very promising collaborations on Knoxxville. The first one being with the Mumbai based musician/producer NATE08 on the opening track “Who Really Cares”. Who Really Cares is the latest addition to the album and expresses the artists disposition on the current times and secondly, a 135bpm, 808 bassweight grime thumper “Time” featuring the highly sought after vocals of the respected UK MC & artist Jammz. 

Over the last decade, Yung.Raj has created a special space for himself and his sound in the Indian music landscape. A prolific musician who recently hit the 100 tracks mark on his Soundcloud, he vows to never be tied down to any certain style, sound or stereotype. His latest release offers a deep exploration of the transient nature of time and everyday life.

Yung.Raj cut his teeth as a beatboxer, producer and DJ from Hyderabad, India and is now recognized as one of the most formidable talents coming out of the country through his ethic and his wide spectrum of sonic explorations. Performing at almost all the biggest festivals in the country in 2019, Yung.Raj has made over 100+ releases ranging from lo-fi, hip hop beats, house music to fast paced club-friendly sounds like footwork, jungle and drum and bass.
