„Your Love is stronger“ is the result of Andy spending a night digging through his record collection.
He came across a Sade record that served as both rhetorical and musical inspiration for the track since the melodies and the rich sonic aesthetics of Sade’s productions which flashed Andy and defined the starting point of the tune. The second track of the EP „Blue Dancers“ is inspired by one of his favorite paintings from the french painter and sculptor Edgar Degas. „The artist was attracted not by the colourful spectacle of the ballet itself, but the prose of life off-stage.“ 
Marking the beginning and end of the EP “We Don’t Need Any Reason To Dance” emerged from the creative process of creating the other two tracks and a dance through his own imagination.

RAMMÖ makes his debut on XYZ alongside a pillar of the label’s output thus far - Jim Rider. The ever-reliable London to Amsterdam connection is on full display, as the two prodangled uction partners conjoin their staples of sound, which have graced the likes of TRYBESof, Klassified, and Kindisch respectively. For their first project together, they’ve set sights on the bountiful borders of Brazil to form the backbone of influence and inspiration on the Esperança EP.

The A-side opens with rhythmic percussions setting an organic framework, while a round and punchy bassline welcomes electronic tones to the fore. Brazileiro vocal chops summon immense character as the track starts to swirl into a synth-laden groover. Resting perfectly at the centerpoint of modern dance touch and timeless musical homage, Esperança is an instant classic. 

Felicidade continues to thread the needle between innovative production and sensational latin flavors. Serene vocals float along, lulling us into a delightful daze before an acidic underbelly ignites a two-step. Energy elevates throughout this dance-driven riser via the playfully filtered bassline, positioning the B-side as an understated and irresistible club weapon.

Madmotormiquel kicks off the EP’s remix offerings with his deeply psychedelic odyssey. As one of Berlin’s finest, he knows better than most the need for heady cuts that keep minds moving. Whether at Fusion or Garbicz, he’s sure to set things in motion with his remix of Felicidade.

Closing out a sumptuous project, Sound Shapes take the reins on Esperança. The Milan-based duo is making waves of late, with releases on the likes of Stil Vor Talent and Gardens of Babylon. Crisp percussion sprinkles over a vivacious low end, as progressive tones have their remix aimed straight at the dancefloor.

Sounds of Khemit continue to bring the wisdom of ancient Khemit back to life with a fantastic three-tracker featuring music from Dandara & G.Zamora, Tanit and VRuno.

Sekhmet means nothing less than 'she, who is powerful.' The Egyptian deity is a warrior master, a master of healing and the destroyer of the enemies of the light, and she is the inspiration for the label's fourth thoughtful EP.

Swiss DJ and producer Dandara and percussionist, singer and student of African rhythm G.Zamora kick off with 'Bibacumbe.' They combine European and world influences with 'Bibacumbe,' a deep groove peppered with rolling toms and Spanish vocals, infectious strings and soulful synths.

Mexican Tanit is a real fiesta DJ who has landed on the likes of Go Deeva. Her immersive 'Nomus' is an atmospheric roller with an airy mystic melody and rolling rubber drums. It's full of life and intriguing natural motifs that keep you hypnotised.

Lastly, the versatile VRuno is a music composer and multi-instrumentalist passionate about organic world music and slow techno. He impresses with 'Birds', which has melancholic piano chords draped over the heartfelt drums. It's a heady track with a thoughtful mood that takes you deep into the night.
‘Empowering Sekhmet’ features a trio of escapist and evocative house tracks.
