hi long time no talk. it's been a while since i put anything out. i really miss the old days of just writing something and dropping it. not worrying about a release schedule, promotion, mixing, mastering - none of that. i'm at a point now where the thought of writing music causes me so much anxiety and i hate it. i have all these ideas and yet i get frozen with the thought of all the stuff that doesn't even matter. all that matters is making. but i also like sharing. so here is me trying to let go and sharing. who knows how long it will last. i might get scared and take it down and then this might be the only thing to see the light of day. but i hope i leave it up. i hope i can give myself that at least.

Everything was going well until I stood up to go to the toilet.
“Rose?” she looked up slowly as the smile disappeared from her face. “I love you, but you’re too much for me right now.”
I stopped what I was doing and sat back down, “What do you mean?”
“You’ve done so much for me and I feel terrible doing this,” she starts.
“But?” I ask.
“But I can’t keep doing this,” she looks around the room. “You’re a lot, and I think I just need some time by myself.”
“I want you to stay,” I place my hand on her shoulder. “I can be less of… too much.”
“Please,” she holds her hand over mine. “Just for the weekend then I’ll be back.”
