Veteran English DJ, prolific producer, and label boss (of multiple imprints), Lee Coombs has been making waves in the underground for over 30 years. With productions ranging from house and techno to breaks, electro to funky grooves, it is no surprise that Lee's set is as wide ranging as the cuts are deep with a strong presence of his signature sound.

"Gunita’s tavern was a blast! More like that dream house party with friends we all love rather than a huge event. I have known Gunita for 20 years+ from our San Francisco shenanigans. This made it all the more special. The main floors at Brooklyn Mirage are very large but it was a breath of fresh air to find the stairs that led to Gunita’s Tavern! I played an eclectic selection of edits and tunes that i knew would rock the NYE floor. Acid and Electro, New and Old school all night long…"

It is through music, there is movement, stagnant energy within has the potential to shift, emotions can be unlocked and changed, releasing tension, easing pain, and instigating joy. Here's my set from the 25th annual edition of the Friends and Family Summer Campout. I rerecorded it as there were a couple mixing glitches in the live version - nothing too heinous, but also nothing I wanted to hear every time I listen to this set in the future. So, made it right for posterity!  =) Sound-wise, this set has a slightly different sound palette for me and even has just a touch of a psy tech towards the end - a nod to Khromata who was following me, and also just some new sounds coming out of producers I've loved for years. So, dig those big, belching, growly synths! As always, massive thanks to everyone that made and makes FnF happen. Raving aint easy, and it remains so amazing that we're still here. Rock on!

EXOENDO emerged into the San Francisco music scene when Rachel Vita performed her first DJ set in 2014. She brings her unique ability to take her audience on a voyage through sounds and genres, spanning the spectrum from melodic melodies to world tribal beats, deep organic house, dark spacey moody shifts of multi-layered delight, astro electronica, psychedelic goodness, sexy liquid drum and bass, starry night breaks, booty shaking trap, and soul expansive sunset downtempo. 

With her roots in music as a singer, songwriter and composer of music, it was when Rachel studied classical and Flamenco guitar the spark for world music ignited along with her travels across Europe and throughout India. She continued to tap into another layer of music when she worked with sound as medicine, creating the somatic musical experience called Transplant Journeys. In these journeys she leads guided meditations for her participants layered with music that she weaves together with sound healing frequencies for somatic and emotional release and activation. 

EXOENDO is most in her element serving up music at campouts, renegades, at Burning Man, and in venues throughout San Francisco and the Bay Area. 

Rachel encourages listeners to enjoy her sets while on long back road drives, viewing the passing sights or with headphones preferably in nature where the listener can soak up the benefits of being outside, steeping in the energy of plants, trees, sun, moon and stars. 

A DJ resident with First Love, Strategik and the Ambient Mafia, Rachel appreciates the platform to keep exploring her artistry and expressing through the different frequencies of music she weaves together.
