Next up on Exotic Refreshment we welcome Agawe, duo of producers from Turkey. Together they produced percussive and melodic textures with their own sound designs for the gem of their two weeks seclusion in a studio in the forest. The duo presents the EP with afro house and modern melodic touches while being inspired by the balance between wilderness and serenity for their leitmotive.

'Confused Karma' turns into an indefinable wildness with the mixed of ethereal vocal, cosmic pads, tribal zippy percussions, rhythmic synth flute pattern, field recordings and lead melodies illuminating two different stories.

'Leza' elicits a dynamic flow with the native flutes, tropical creatures, orchestral instruments, swinging synth, african vocal and percussions arising from an enchanted jungle.

Born and raised in Guanajuato, México, has been living for the past 9 years in Oslo, Norway. Having spent most of his childhood in the mountain hills of the Mexican "bajío" with his indigenous ancestors brought big influence to his life. Pre-hispanic, folkloric, Latin-American, tribal and shamanic sounds conform an essential part of his musical exploration. This is for him, a way to keep his roots alive. Saul introduces complex sets, giving as result a multi-cultural sounds journey which appears to transport you to ancient rituals, always by the hand, naturally, of powerful and hypnotic basslines. Oslo has welcomed him with open arms and he's now earned the city's nightlife respect due to his consistent work. With his international debut show at iconic party Woomoon Ibiza, he's proven his talent goes beyond borders and it's ready to turn the dancefloor into the party everyone wishes to experience.

Kriz was born into a musical family where he developed an early passion for music. His father, an electronic engineer, built him a synthesizer and a DJ mixer when he was 8 and 13 years old respectively. These devices became his tools for learning music synthesis and sound design, skills that he has honed for over 30 years. He produces music under the alias ---Ӝ LIVING THEORY Ӝ ---and performs as☼ K-R-I-Z-Z-O-L-O-G-Y ☼.

Kriz has been part of the electronic dance music scene in South Africa since its underground beginnings. He has played at various clubs and raves, sharing the stage with many other DJs. However, he does not measure his success by his venues or collaborators, but by his ability to create a journey for the dancers on the floor. He says: "It has always been about the journey". His sets are characterized by smooth transitions, groovy melodies and tight beats that build up to a sonic climax. Besides being a career airline pilot, Kriz also draws parallels between flying and making music. He says that both require respect for the art and subtle movements that can change the direction or mood.

Kriz's motto as a producer and performer is to find the space between the music and use it to manipulate the groove. He says: "If I can get myself into that space, then I have achieved much, because it is there that I can make the dancers move as one with my pace".
