Magico Disco is a brand new podcast presented by DJ and producer Marc Grabber and hosted monthly on Mixmag Adria. The idea for this mixed session series is related to the Magico Disco clubnight, a concept based on an intimate type of clubbing set by Grabber and his friends Zoran Budija, Dražen Dobrila and Dean Cvek.

Episode #1 was inspired with Tel Aviv, a city the left a deep impression on Grabber. Each Magico Disco podcast episode will tent to tribute a specific aspect of electronic music. Therefor, the Tel Aviv kick off episode is a meditative deep house mix with elements of world music.

The Tel Aviv episode is also an invitation for the upcoming Magico Disco event scheduled for saturday 1st February 2020., at the Corner Le Mat in Poreč, the place where it all started.

Next up on Exotic Refreshment we welcome Agawe, duo of producers from Turkey. Together they produced percussive and melodic textures with their own sound designs for the gem of their two weeks seclusion in a studio in the forest. The duo presents the EP with afro house and modern melodic touches while being inspired by the balance between wilderness and serenity for their leitmotive.

'Confused Karma' turns into an indefinable wildness with the mixed of ethereal vocal, cosmic pads, tribal zippy percussions, rhythmic synth flute pattern, field recordings and lead melodies illuminating two different stories.

'Leza' elicits a dynamic flow with the native flutes, tropical creatures, orchestral instruments, swinging synth, african vocal and percussions arising from an enchanted jungle.

Dune Whispers of Caladan Seas takes place during the Harkonnen attack on Arrakis during the night of a thousand candles. It depicts a group of Atreides soldiers trapped in a cave in the Shield Wall outside Arrakeen. One of the soldiers, a master story teller, recounts tales of Caladan, the sea-covered ancestral homeworld of House Atreides. A group of Fremen warriors found the soldiers shortly after, and discover that the soldiers have all magically drowned — a fate that has never happened previously on the desert planet of Arrakis. They said that the soldiers drowned in a sea of magical whispers, a myth that remains untold till nowadays strange times. Now is the time for this story to be told and nobody can do it better than us. Bac holds dune in one hands and whispers in the other. This is his first offering for Shango Records. This track can build the end into the beginning and tell you stories about the sea of whispers. Jack Essek, Kosh, Manati and Orkidz are warriors from Arrakeen.
