This year we are celebrating the 15th anniversary of our label and on this occasion we have prepared several releases under the name "15 Years of Exotic".

Chapter 2 of the series comes with another four fresh remixes of tracks that have been released in recent years on Exotic Refreshment and Exotic Refreshment LTD.

Sampler starts with a new mesmerizing Matija & Richard Elcox Remix of Manucho's "The Fire Whisperer", in which Matija and Rich used a fragment of the narrative from the movie 'Oshkigin Spirit of Fire'. In this place we would like to thank the people at Dovetail Partners and all those involved in the making of their fantastic film - video can be found here: https://youtu.be/8uBuxbdr5Qs . Next we have something more melodic, a fresh remix of "Every End Is A New Beginning" by SevenJune & Ian Ludvig, provided by Greek producer VieL. The second part of the release opens AmuAmu with his fresh look at one of our favorite tracks of 2018: HAFT - Ountera. And last but not least, a crazy interpretation from Dandara of well received track "Jana" by Bahramji & Medusa Odyssey.

This energy empowers and also heals us to the core. It is the life force, so the mix will have that original life force and be share in the way of all stories of the ancient storytelling oral tradition, which make up true history that is passed down from generation to generation.

Dirlasion and Desert Raven (@desertravenmusic):  Dirlasion is a good friend and spiritual brother to Desert Raven, the mystical DJ-producer and founder of The Odyssey, Primordial Grooves, Rakhma, and Mystical Vision music collectives.  Dirlasion is currently helping Desert Raven, through his biggest mission yet, in the Mystical Vision community, cultivate a strong, spiritually-centered music community based on mysticism, healing, honest conversations among members of society, and a deeper journey in life, including the search for God, particularly in music.  Desert Raven and Dirlasion both believe that electronic music absolutely has room for their type of deeper, spiritually-focused music and that mystical vision is needed to help discern the world around us and convey a more lasting and powerful message of love.

With fond memories of experimenting with his brothers Korg MS-20 at the age of 11, it is no surprise that Richard Elcox was drawn to the world of electronic music from an early age. After swapping his native Scotland for Berlin in 2005 he began to orientate himself around its inspiring techno scene and in 2009 he co-founded the @Vergissmeinnicht collective with his DJ partner Maroq. Rich & Maroq have performed in venues like Bar 25 (B), Hive (CH), Secret Island Festival (SE), Kater Holzig (B) Sisyphos (B), Kiste Baden (CH) and much much more, as well as starting the first Vergissmeinnicht club nights and open airs. 

2012 he teamed up with @Dirty-Room to release the track Archipelago on the Secret Island Festival Compilation (Darek). Today Richard Elcox is highly regarded for his production talents, having applied his skills to the music of numerous artists over the years. With the studio as his second home, he is always quietly cultivating, refining and developing his craft.
