Next up on Exotic Refreshment we welcome Agawe, duo of producers from Turkey. Together they produced percussive and melodic textures with their own sound designs for the gem of their two weeks seclusion in a studio in the forest. The duo presents the EP with afro house and modern melodic touches while being inspired by the balance between wilderness and serenity for their leitmotive.

'Confused Karma' turns into an indefinable wildness with the mixed of ethereal vocal, cosmic pads, tribal zippy percussions, rhythmic synth flute pattern, field recordings and lead melodies illuminating two different stories.

'Leza' elicits a dynamic flow with the native flutes, tropical creatures, orchestral instruments, swinging synth, african vocal and percussions arising from an enchanted jungle.

Bahram's instrument is the Persian santoor, a traditional stringed instrument of which it is said it could create the sound of emptiness. Besides the santoor, he began playing the Persian setar and ney, a Persian bamboo flute. Soon afterwards, he began to sing to his music, which had hitherto been instrumental in character: he often quotes the poems and wisdom of mystical poets such as Rumi.

His music is a special combination between the old and the traditional, a fusion of Rumi's spiritual poems with modern and technical rhythms that invite to meditation. The fusion between spirituality and meditative rhythms, combined with traditional Persian instruments such as the santoor, have a hypnotic effect.

Medusa Odyssey is a concept of electronic live performance where this duo of musicians, producers and DJ ś play their own music, producing it live with synthesizers, electric guitar, flutes, vocals and drum machine.

Then this fusion of Bahramji and Medusa Odyssey creates really cool and ethnic atmospheres for a musical trip.

In Ibiza they have been playing in parties like Woomoon at Cova Santa, StoryTellers, Do not sit at Heart, Elements, Sunset Ashram, Namaste at Las Dalias, Beachouse, etc.

Also has participated in 2019 at Echo Waves festival in Georgia, Iris Beirut - Lebanon, Rich Mix in London and Cyprus in addition to traveling soon to Dubai to participate in Blue Marlin and Iris Dubai. 

Jana reflects the sound of the live performance of Bahramji & Medusa Odyssey in a first original track with the Themba´s, Goldcap's, Nhii's, Acado's and Taavi Tuisk's remixes.
