This year we are celebrating the 15th anniversary of our label and on this occasion we have prepared several releases under the name "15 Years of Exotic".

Chapter 2 of the series comes with another four fresh remixes of tracks that have been released in recent years on Exotic Refreshment and Exotic Refreshment LTD.

Sampler starts with a new mesmerizing Matija & Richard Elcox Remix of Manucho's "The Fire Whisperer", in which Matija and Rich used a fragment of the narrative from the movie 'Oshkigin Spirit of Fire'. In this place we would like to thank the people at Dovetail Partners and all those involved in the making of their fantastic film - video can be found here: https://youtu.be/8uBuxbdr5Qs . Next we have something more melodic, a fresh remix of "Every End Is A New Beginning" by SevenJune & Ian Ludvig, provided by Greek producer VieL. The second part of the release opens AmuAmu with his fresh look at one of our favorite tracks of 2018: HAFT - Ountera. And last but not least, a crazy interpretation from Dandara of well received track "Jana" by Bahramji & Medusa Odyssey.

Looking in the future, i can play music to the persons all my life and i want to share my favorites songs with everyboy!
At the beginning of my history i started recording radio music in cassettes and adding tones and some percussions with a casio tone.
At the age of 15 I attended my first psytrance music festival in the city of Cancun and it was from there that electronic music completely absorbed me, having the opportunity to use my first pioneer players when I was visiting house of friends who had them. In college I was excited to play at a birthday or special party. But when I started to participate in different nightclubs and festivals in my country, Mexico, I got completely covered in the rhythms and atmospheres of techno and its derivatives. In my family there is never a lack of music, from megaphones with classic music to regional Mexican music vinyl.

Starting his journey with music as Concha, Jay Kotak is a transformer of a kind, playing with vibe and energy on the dancefloor.

The word Concha or Shankh in Spanish has a deeper meaning related to positive vibrations exuding courage, hope, optimism, willpower and bliss which is exactly what he strives to achieve with his music.
His expertise lies in different genres of techno and progressive house. His passion towards music grew in his teens when India was swept off by the rock and pop culture. Henceforth, taking to the console came naturally to him.

Jay draws his inspiration from artists like John Digweed, Sahar Z, Nick Muir with a focus to connect with fans and form a community rather than aiming for perfection. He likes to experiment with the buildup, leaving the audience wanting for more.
