Expel grew up in Oakland, CA in the 80’s and 90’s. He was captivated by the music and culture that was constantly developing in the Bay Area. All it took was the site of two turntables and a mixer for him to realize his destiny. Rocking parties and slanging mix tapes at the ripe age of 12; music was life to Expel, but there was still something missing. It wasn’t easy expressing feelings through other artists’ music. But the combination of a beat, pen, and paper were the answer to all his problems.

Expel first developed his emcee skills with the Bay Area underground crews the “Astronauts” and the “International Loose Cannons”. In 2007, he teamed up with partner Nick V and formed “The Party Crashers”. The Party Crasher’s self titled album, a fusion between the Beastie Boys and the Alkoholiks, was the perfect party soundtrack. This album helped Expel really define his sound and motivated him to make a career out of his passion for music.

Expel has honed his live show to perfection over the years. With former crews, Expel has opened up for artists such as the Alkaholiks, Living Legends, Devin the Dude, Brother Ali, Hieroglyphics and Zion I. Expel brings his great energy and attitude to the stage and truly puts the “live” in live show. Soon Expel will be hitting up the stage all over and you will not want to miss it.

After over a decade of hard work, 2009 is finally the right time for Expel to release the long awaited debut solo album titled “What’s Good?!”. Everyone goes through ups and downs in life, good and bad of relationships, moments of celebration and times of reflection. This album has a little bit of something for everyone. Expel has a very unique sound and is looking to bridge the gap between underground hip-hop and mainstream appeal. He is not the type of artist you can push into one genre of music. Good music is good music….

Since they started meeting at several scratch battles all over Europe, the three DJ's from 9 O'clock never stopped working and improving their skills.  In 2013, Aociz, Dj Hertz et Mr Viktor decided to confront the harsh realities of the official competitions. They decided to compete in the DMC world championships, a reference for all DJs. 
As a result, 9 O'clock won the French championship and soon after, the world title, following the footsteps of well-known French formations such as C2C and Birdy Nam Nam. 
Success didn't erase their passion though... and the guys decided to compete again in the London World DMC finals (in 2014 and 2015) which enabled them to collect 3 consecutive titles.

They decided not to stop there, driven by an irresistible will to push back their own boundaries. Remixes, videos then came out and opened a new chapter of the band's carreer, now ready to explode and reveal its true potential. 
After months spent in studio producing music, 9 O'clock will now release their new EP, "Escape", and prove that the power of attraction of their music largely surpasses the microcosm of turntables.
