Pravus is a music producer and songwriter who launched his career in 2015, captivated by the raw energy of dark trap and underground hip hop. Pravus quickly immersed himself in these genres, developing a signature style characterized by hard-hitting beats and atmospheric textures. While these sounds remain central to his artistry, Pravus continues to explore a wide spectrum of musical styles, working on projects that encompass synthwave, lo-fi, metal, and even country.

Over the years, Pravus has collaborated with a diverse range of independent artists, contributing his production and songwriting skills to help realize their creative visions. While he has long preferred to work behind the scenes, 2025 marks a new era of embracing the public eye by releasing a mix of previously unreleased material alongside recently completed projects.

VCR Nightwaves is the synth-driven alter ego of a producer on a mission to bring the 1980s back to life. From Dreamwave, Synthwave, Synthpop, Electro-Funk, and touches of New Jack Swing, he crafts music that channels the heart of the era. Neon lights, analog warmth, and big emotional hooks.

With shimmering synths, vintage drum grooves, and an ear for cinematic nostalgia, he captures the sound of a decade defined by both style and soul.
