Speedy J and Surgeon present Bleep with a three hour live mix of their FUSE 2023 set, following their debut album as Multiples entitled Two Hours Or Something. With no tracklist to go by, it’s just the pounding techno to guide us through, relentlessly driving with extended acid workouts and industrial flavours. Past the first hour, things get warped and otherworldly with celestial synth stabs, before descending into hardcore rhythms. All this is surely a taste of what’s to come at their Sónar by Day set in Barcelona, 14th June, which the duo’s comments on their FUSE set further hint at: “I remember it being one of the most punishing Multiples sets, but as is always the way, it was still really odd and alien,” recalls Surgeon. “I agree with Tony,” adds Speedy J, “we got away with diverting from the usual club show path.”
