A mere nightmare

Where chill meets Darkness and Light in the Galaxy.  Image was taken from the NASA Imagery and Video Library. Sirius B is the Smaller Blue Star in the images taken by the Hubble Space Telescope.

A fast techno track with a simple promise. Time and space will start to shift if you listen for hours on end. But I guess that might also be due to lack of water, food, and other necessities of life. Be smart. Don't listen to music.

Voices of the Northern Lights

I thought I'd set a challenge for myself while learning the Intellijel Atlantix by making a track with 100% sounds created with the module. From percussion, bass, pads, and chords, to textural effects, everything was created with the Atlantix and recorded into Ableton where I layered sounds and built out an arrangement. 

Added some slight compression and reverb/delay to certain tracks using Valhalla Delay, VintageVerb, and FutureVerb.

I'll take another pass at this track to sub out some sounds — particularly the chords, as I don't like how they sit in the mix, and sequencing and recording each note of the chord individually and layering in Ableton was a faff.

Overall, enjoyed the experiment and learnt a lot about what the Atlantix is capable of! Constraints breed creativity.

I do not use AI for composing music and I object to AI training of music using any of my music.  Some of the mastering software I used may have used AI.  

I play piano, synth, guitar, bass, bodhran and I sing from time to time.  I studied jazz piano and composing  Contemporary Classical Music and I write for many genres.
