Today, we welcome a very special guest onto the podcast, Dr. Tom Chatfield, a British author, tech philosopher, and educator. Tom’s work focuses on the intersection of technology, culture, and human behavior. He’s the author of several books, including "Wise Animals," which explores the evolving relationship between humanity and technology, and the best-selling textbook "Critical Thinking," which is used widely in academic settings. Tom is also known for his debut novel, "This is Gomorrah," which was shortlisted for major thriller awards and won France’s 2020 Prix Douglas Kennedy for the year’s best foreign thriller.

In addition to his writing, Tom is a thought leader on topics like AI ethics, digital literacy, and future skills. He collaborates with universities, business schools, and companies to improve our understanding of technology’s role in education, policy, and engagement. He’s spoken at global platforms like TED, the Cannes Lions Festival, and the Houses of Parliament, and regularly contributes to media outlets like the BBC.

Corsten's Countdown 500 live from Rotterdam - Part 1 [January 21, 2017]

Tune in every 2nd and 4th Friday of the month for the official radio show of record label Flashover Recordings. Featuring a selection of the biggest releases on the label and the latest exclusives, "Flashover Radio" offers an inside peek at what the label has to offer. Each episode includes an exclusive 30-minute mix by an artist from the label as well.

Flashover is the record label family set up in 2005 by Dutch DJ and producer Ferry Corsten to release new, fresh and innovative dance productions. Flashover Recordings is the main label where Ferry Corsten, DIM3NSION, Solis & Sean Truby amongst others release their music. The label focuses on Melodic Trance, ranging from 128 to around 135 BPM.
