Continuum: a coherent whole characterized as a collection, sequence, or progression of values or elements varying by minute degrees.

We all have core memories of special dancefloor moments. Audience fully hypnotised, beating as one, lost in the music. Pure instinct, and the wildest spirit within each one shining through. Some artists have an uncanny ability to channel that. And today we present 2 masters at making those moments happen, via Perpendicular Festival 2025. Part of the Ouroboros takeover on Friday night, their performance at the event was one for the books. 

Toé, one of the minds behind EWO collectif and the Ouroboros project, has been mesmerising audiences with some stellar performances. A testament to it was her set just a couple days ago on her home turf, when we witnessed her sorcery at the peak of it's powers. With music that taps into the most feral and primal, it's hard to explain the purity of the feelings she conveys with her mixes. One thing is for sure, Toé has an ability to get your inner animal manifest on the dancefloor. 

Vardae needs no introduction at this point. His releases on Samurai Music or Non Series have established him in that "timeless" space of music creators. One to blame for the expansion on half time and dnb sounds into new psychedelic territory. Vardae is at the very front of a movement that unites breaks, tribe, trancey sounds and techno energy into a new irresistible ritual. His live performance gets better every time, and he turned Ouroboros upside down a couple of days ago. 

Together, you can only imagine what these magicians summon with their sonic potions. And Perpendicular was the cauldron in which their perfect mix took shape. Impossible drum patterns, enchanting atmospheres and their particular flare for transcendental sounds. Combined, these two take their wizardry to the highest levels. 

We couldn't be happier to host these two beloved artists, friends and amazing creatives. Inspiring humans that we always wanted to have in our channel. Infinite gratitude to Melu, Cedric, and the Perpen team for letting us host this piece of musical history. This is HUGE.

Alexandra Cepeda, aka Memory Palace (@memoryypalace), is a Barcelona-based DJ born and raised on Colombia’s Caribbean coast. A lifelong electronic music enthusiast, she has spent years exploring sound as a form of self-expression, weaving rich, immersive soundscapes that channel her inner voice. With a multidisciplinary approach to music, Memory Palace crafts hypnotic, high-energy sets that fuse IDM, trance, techno, and breaks. Her signature blend of dark atmospheres and intricate rhythms creates deep, cinematic journeys, striking a balance between raw intensity and emotion.

Jaleo Real is an annual gathering of dancing souls centered around the local scene, creating a space of community and connection. This year marks its 5th edition.

All of us. As each year passes, I appreciate more and more the mental haven that has developed. A space to relax, a platform to create. Focusing on moods and sounds that we listen to recover and unwind. Deeply personal, and a sonic window into the soul, the variety of guest mixes, and emotions covers the spectrum. I am so humbled to be able to release each and every entry.

This September marks 6 years of Sundays. The musical journey continues, and evolves, so too does the visual. Simple, and abstract. Bridging the digital and analog realms, the art continues to change and match energy. A sine wave in all its glory, nothing less, nothing more. A comfort in its identity, a comfort in its simplicity.

Enjoy the mix, this is my yearly ‘moment’ if you will, to let the hair down, and indulge.

Born in London and having lived in Bristol, James Laing (@soundsfromthenightgarden) draws from the sounds of both cities, alongside his musical knowledge which he has gained during his classical compositional training. With releases on Melifera, Indefinite Pitch & Beatrice M's hybrid Dubstep label, Bait, Night Garden aims to create richly psychedelic & hypnotic pieces which combine modern sound design with classical theoretical concepts.

“Dubstep has been one of my favourite genres of music for years but I’ve often found it tricky to place alongside the deeper techno I usually mix. At the beginning of
this summer, dubstep is pretty much all I was listening to, so, when I was presented the opportunity to close a party I attended in Umbria in June, I thought I’d try and solve this issue. This mix builds from deep dubstep through to high-energy techno via more abstract forms of 140 in the centre.”

Toner, who found Liminal Dreams, a one-of-a-kind collective in the current Tokyo scene, has honed his sensibility through his activities, and his ambient-based set, which he performed from early morning to the finale of the four-day event, was a perfect opportunity to fully demonstrate his worldview. The set was full of tenderness that embraced those who were tired of dancing and those who were ready for a new day in the morning. We hope you will listen to his selections once again as he takes on his new residency at rural.

The warm afterglow of a weekend of music. Smoke filled rooms and comforting tones, all shades of ambient and beyond. This is what I played for my set on Sunday, the final day at our annual barn gathering. Everyone melted into couches, flitting in and out of consciousness. As light turned to darkness ever so gently, we all took turns providing a sonic window into what the day of rest and recovery means.

“This set was recorded live 5-7pm, Saturday evening at Pe:rsona, 2025. The seemingly last dry-ish stretch and set of wild (weather) weekend, sunshowers made way for glistening droplets to  sparkle through the shade sails and lay foundation for me to weave between deeper percussive cuts and shiny crystalline daytime techno.”

Pjenné is a Naarm/Melbourne-based DJ, radio broadcaster, curator and label manager. Her musical identity is shaped by the expansive, psychedelic soundscapes of the southern bush, an influence that permeates her trance-inducing, progressive, and hypnotic selections.

Pjenné’s sets are characterised by deep-digging selections and an impeccable narrative craft, both of which are on full display in this masterfully executed recording. Tune in now for two hours of deep, lush afternoon techno daydreams.
