“Explicit Codec Releases Yet Another Smash EP from Catalyst Artist”

Lucas Monchi of Black Turtle Records partnered with Explicit Codec Records this November for the release of NY Vibes EP. This EP features tracks “No Party” and “NY Feeling” bringing listeners traditional house routes with a twist. 

At the junction of traditional house and new school vibes, you will find the NY Vibes EP, guaranteed to transport you to the old school New York City basement bodega parties that are all but a folktale. Label founder, Julian Mesa, was particularly drawn to Lucas’s style because of his ability to seamlessly incorporate groove, samples and an uplifting sound while keeping in touch with the Explicit Codec’s habitual energy.

The label looks forward to working with Lucas more closely in the near future and will be including this EP in the labels highlights for fall and winter releases.
