I wrote this song after an in-depth conversation with my mother who spent years searching for her mother.  It's in 7/8; perhaps reflecting the irregularity of relationships.

Whenever I send a song to Clive I expect something great. I have already lost faith in giving him a title that he would always modify to give it a better meaning.

After sending me the cover art, and seeing what motivated him to write the lyrics, I can imagine it on his bicycle, returning home after a hard day at work.

And, certainly, be it in England, Spain, or wherever... there is no better place than your home.

This is a song I wrote with Bubba Maddux, he wrote most of the lyrics and I wrote the music and sang it (please forgive the vocals, I am not a singer). It's kind of Jazzy pop but it does have the feel of the ocean. Bubba did a great job with the lyrics and he will be doing an acoustical version in the future so be on the look out for that on his channel.
