Neste azul poente, ao sol, ao vento brincam ondas, 
luzimentos que não faz qualquer sentido alguém biografar.
Mesmo o túnel mais perfeito nunca teve um nome,
nem retrato de família que as ondinhas queiram recordar.

Tanto mar!...
Eu também sou movimento que se vai quebrar
nas margens do esquecimento deste imenso mar.
Beija-me perdidamente, antes de eu voltar
a surfar o firmamento lindo...

Vem ler poemas dos helénios
escuta o canto dos milénios
das trirremes que passaram de regresso ao lar.
Vê, quando abraço a areia quente
eu abraço tanta gente 
que deixou suas pegadas à beira do mar...

E, se escutares a minha prece,
explico-te a extinção da espécie
