Making waves previously on Exploited as well as on Blue Shadow and Monaberry (alongside AIKON), dentist-cum-producer Sandhog is back with another hot EP.

Oriental vibes abound on the beguiling ‘Bonifacio’, where a punchy kick underpins on-beat electric bass in driving fashion, and a beautiful plucked Eastern instrument laces the track with metallic, pitch-bending mysticism. Somewhere in the distance a Thai-funk-esque electric guitar solo noodles away as hypnotic Thai vocal wails draw us in further.

‘Oishii’ snaps along with an electro-tinged swagger, with old skool funked-up bass giving the track a real wiggle amidst tight percussion. Subtle chord sequences and sassy male vocals colour in the gaps, with rasping synths heightening the breakdown tension. A sweet double-time synth hook pushes the track along with renewed vigour after the drop, and acidic squelches add a thicc layer to the bass.

Blindsmyth's second album "All That Fiberglass" received quite some love after its release in February 2022. Several of the titles found their way both into the sets of many DJs, as well as the playlists and charts on everybody's favourite platforms.

Should you previously have been following Connaisseur, you will doubtlessly already be awaiting the remixes which usually succeed an album on our imprint. A format we have loved since our beginnings and for which, in all those years, we were rarely disappointed by our choice of remixers. The same can again be said about the interpretations for Blindsmyth now, with his originals offering a leeway for remix possibilities. Since we have again gathered a rather diverse collection of remixes, we have decided to release them in four parts.

Leading the charge for „Refiberd Vol. 3" is Norwegian electronic duo Ost & Kjex, who deliver an unexpected banging remix of "Connection Error". Known for their fun-driven yet sophisticated approach to electronic music, Ost & Kjex infuse their remix with a demanding bassline and a relentless energy that will make dancefloors quake with excitement. With their unique blend of techno prowess and subtle pinches of electro and disco, Ost & Kjex's remix of "Connection Error" is a true standout.

Adding a dose of bouncy deep house vibes to the mix, Deep Aztec steps up with a remix of "Delete Your Cloud". The South African-based producer masterfully weaves together melodic basslines, organic percussions, and infectious vocal samples, creating a feel-good and danceable deep house rendition that will keep listeners moving from start to finish.

Last but not least, NORLYZ brings his unique touch to "Uberfahrt" with an electronica/breakbeats version that takes the original track to new heights. NORLYZ's remix is a mesmerizing journey through intricate beats, atmospheric noisy textures, and captivating melodies, seamlessly blending electronica and breakbeats into a sublime and immersive sonic experience.
