At it for a while now, Shir Khan has built up a heavy reputation around his Exploited imprint, among some of the more elite champions of all things deep and funky. The range of DJs regularly championing Exploited releases is at the very least a great excuse for you to dig into what this label is all about.

1. About GIVE IT TO ME by PJU
Whilst out clubbing one night in London PJU bumped into London DJ & club host Josh Caffe and Cedric of Azari & lll. Before long they all ended up at an after party. They talked to Josh about singing on this track they had been working on which was inspired by this classic Chicago house track called ’Donnie’ by this obscure act 'The It’.
Josh jumped on the idea. Said & done, whilst in PJU's west London studio recording Josh's exhilarating vocal, PJU played Josh the ’Donnie’ track which had this haunting soulful vocal which they discovered was by a certain Mr Robert Owens. Josh flipped and said he's good friends with Mr Owens, let's get him on the track!! A month later Robert Owens was in the PJU studio. He delivered, on the spot, exactly what the track needed. The result is the track "Give It To Me" now featured as the first song on Exploited Records Secret Gold Compilation Vol 6.

2. About BODY TROUBLE by ANTILOPE
Handling softnesses with the delights until the delirious rhythms shocks, 
the reflection of a tainted essence of sincerity and devotion, Belgian Antilope finds inspiration in a changing reality, with the will to reveal one ounce, even infinite, of hope and unity.

3. About EVERYTHINGS A DREAM by KEVIN MCKAY
While exchanging remixfiles for his act Mia Dora for an upcoming Exploited Release by Human Life & Anabel Englund, Kevin (the man from Glasgow Underground) got in touch and sent through some of his original material. 'Everythings A Dream' got immediately signed by Shir Khan.

4. About GUNNA GIVE U by WILL CLARKE
Will Clarke just got back from a tour in Australia and this track always turned heads down with a large response from the punters: With the first drop being quite a four to the floor chugger to the break down having a more euphoric feel with the pitched vocals and organs.

Mighty Medsound returns to Media Blackout with his latest smash ‘Holding Hands’ featuring the delicious vocals of Indsa who makes her debut on the label. The Barcelona born enigmatic multitalented Medsound has been a regular in many top artist playlists, constantly showcasing his huge originality and versatility without ever disappointing.

Consisting of Danish-born (LA-based) producer Tim McEwan and NYC-based singer-songwriter Tyler Lyle, The Midnight have emerged in recent years as a veritable leader of the synthwave resurgence. The Midnight Remixed, one of our most ambitious releases to date, features brand new remixes by a distinguished group of Silk Music veterans, whose melodic and atmospheric sound has significantly helped to define our brand. We've also recruited a few famed nonresident label contributors, including Lifelike and Michael Cassette, whose specific compositional gifts and musical legacies seemed especially apropos to this 80s-influenced endeavor. 

The Midnight Remixed showcases breathtaking new interpretations of The Midnight's past work, ranging in style from drum & bass and deep house to trance & progressive. Michael Cassette, Johan Vilborg, Dezza, Lifelike, PROFF, Terry Da Libra, Sundriver, and Talamanca's exhilarating, club-oriented interpretations feature rapturous chords, and, of course, Tyler's mellifluous and infectious vocal hooks. L.O.V.E. Ltd is back with the fall, expanding its sonic horizons, welcoming UK newcomer https://soundcloud.com/demigodsmusic! Also known as Gary Harper, the London-based producer brings his wonderful synthwave touch to what the label has been trying to explore for the past few years. Expect lushy pads, gated snares and breathtaking melodies.

First off, "Queen Of Diamonds" sets the mood. With its gorgeous layers, the track slowly takes you on a journey between the past and the present moment. Washed out vocal samples and epic solos are only there if you weren't sure yet that this one is a pure gem!

"Marshmallow" takes a slower turn on the pop-ish side. Innocent textures, airy arpeggios, and that melody that will get stuck in your head for days. Just close your eyes and remember the last time you had cotton candy on a merry-go- round.

Last but certainly not least, "Those Eyes": it might be closing the package but this one will most likely be your favorite. Intense arps, deep and mellow chords, chopped vocals and heartthrobbing bass; this one is a definitive hit!
