PREMIERE: Known Artist - Can't Tell (Club Mix)

Correspondant presents Desire, by Boys’ Shorts. Hailing from Greece, the duo is comprised of musicians Vangelis and Tareq. Their music seamlessly blends elements of disco, slow techno, house, and acid, with one clear mission: “We make people dance!” And with their latest release, they’re staying true to their word, delivering tracks designed to ignite the dancefloor.
The EP kicks off with Close To You, a track that wastes no time setting the mood. Its punchy kicks and staccato synths create a high-energy, euphoric experience, guaranteed to set the club ablaze. The title track, Desire, favors a more minimalistic pattern while still being drenched in melody and groove. It layers infectious loops over a smooth rhythm, crafting a soundscape that's irresistibly hypnotic.
To keep the pleasure going for longer, the project comes with two remixes. Blu:sh reimagines Close To You with a deeper, bouncier bassline, injecting the track with a flirtatious vibe that’s sure to raise the heat. Meanwhile, Mala Ika adds her signature flair to Desire, ramping up the tension with hard-hitting snares and chopped choir vocals, for a banging club tool.

PREMIERE: Cortex Power ─ Salvation (Extended Mix) [Neo Disco]

SOULMEEX record label returns this summer with a heatwave of nostalgia-infused grooves, welcoming French producer Harrington for his debut release on the label. Known for his raw, emotive take on electronica, Harrington blends italo, dream house, and vintage synth textures with a distinct nod to the golden era of Chicago and New York club culture. The result: two original cuts that pulse with timeless energy.

On the A side, Dancin’ Better channels a bittersweet euphoria, driven by retro drum machines, silky basslines, and melancholic melodies that feel both familiar and fresh. The remix comes courtesy of Prom Night, one of Copenhagen’s most vital dancefloor architects. His version reimagines the track turning it into a peak-time heater for dreamy dancefloors.

Flip to the B side for System Nation, a darker, more propulsive journey through late-night zones, with Harrington crafting a groove that’s both hypnotic and emotionally charged. Stepping up on remix duty is Berlin’s own Maltitz. His italo remix injects System Nation with shimmering synths nodding to the genre’s roots while pushing the vibe forward.

Hamburg based Bizzarro Universe are a duo who have conjured the cosmos into releases on Bordello a Parigi and Exploited Club. 'Planetary Groove' was their debut EP for Exploited Club; a nod to the 90s that is now taken in 2 fresh directions by Herr Krank and auspicious producer AUTOFLOWER.

First up is Helios label head Herr Krank who braids Trance, Acid and Italo into a dizzying revision that does a fine job of channeling 90s euphoria whilst delivering something very fresh indeed. Shuttering synths and a vibrant acid line tag in and out while a serrated bass line gives the low end a stylish bite. Drums are quick and boisterous and the energy effervescent as the track powers on like a current of energy: fast paced and coursing forth with irresistible kinetic momentum.

Nijmegen based AUTOFLOWER then steps in, keeping hold of the euphoric torch across a powerful take that marches with a purposeful intensity. Drums are potent and crunchy, churning away under an electrifying synth lead that gradually opens up before a double drop that will send the floor into giddy rapture, capping off 2 different but equally effective remixes.

The Pink Flamingo EP kicks of with a no frills, straight up powerhouse pumper in the form of “You Are Divine” which tips the hat at the self proclaimed “Filthiest Person Alive”….a big bubbling Hi-Nrg style workout with added keys & cosmic drenched weirdo drum sounds (courtesy of the Emperor Machine) ensures that more than just the top shirt button will be getting undone during this campaign.

This is followed by “Floor To The Four” which takes the jackin baton and goes for gold….cut up & stuttered vocals from a Chicago producer are scattered across a full on 909 workout that leads to a drop where said producer explains the inner workings of certain studio toys….one for the geeks & the freaks….all are invited!

ROTCIV gets busy on remix duty for Floor To The Four and brings all his Berlin based wisdom to the party to deliver a whole much darker affair which belongs in the deepest of darkrooms…the addition of piano lightens the mood whilst still keeping one foot firmly in the mist…lovely stuff.
