Former Beatport and Juno Records #1 artist Budakid’s back on Exploited with another two sublime productions. Heady tinges of melody greet us from the first second on ‘Phantonym’, the groove building in a gentle afro/tech vibe with woodblock rhythms and shimmering hi-hats. Pretty riffs abound over a subtle bass of low-register pads and the driving, throbbing bass and stab groove. Dreamy arpeggios dance dazzlingly in the higher echelons of the track, leading the way to a blissed-out breakdown and another delectable synth refrain that chimes in time with the groove. Beautifully crafted, delicately poised, and goosebump-inducing. ‘Pizza Pizza’ is as tasty as it sounds. A more groovy affair than its accompaniment on this release, it whisks together discofied bass with an unusual stuttered lead riff and magical atmospheres that create a glowing, warm feel. Tambourines provide the main percussive propulsion, and hazy sampled chords add to the cosy soundscape. ‘Pizza Pizza’ is a collaboration with Budakid’s buddy El Zárate who is a new face on the scene.
Budakid’s been on fire recently, getting asked by Hot Since 82 to remix Nick Curly for his Knee Deep Recordings label, Moscoman and by Frankey & Sandrino for their Sum Over Histories label, and scored a Beatport No. 1 with Matthias Meyer on Watergate Records. That’s not to mention releases on Disco Halal and upcoming
collaborations with more hot talent...

Eelke Kleijn Feat. Diana Miro - You (Frankey & Sandrino Remix)

One of TAU’s core family members and an artist who we discovered and nurtured from day one, Innellea returns to the label. Over the last couple of years it’s been amazing to watch Innellea grow and succeed, with his music catching the attention of labels such as Innervisions, Diynamic and Afterlife. Now he’s back with TAU, delivering a neat four-track package that represents his unique, melodic approach to electronic music. The Hypolation EP is another big stride forward for this artist, who continues to impress with his production prowess.

First up is ‘Returning Spaces’, which begins with a rather sombre atmosphere, stuttered beats and rumbling bass. Hushed vocals weave an emotional narrative, while the instrumental becomes increasingly emotive, Innellea building up the tension to great effect. This one runs at just over three minutes, but it packs plenty of feeling into that time.

Next is the title track, ‘Hypolation’, which demonstrates Innellea’s ability to inject raw feeling into his dance floor compositions. A myriad layers buzz and swirl around each other, cultivating an illuminating atmosphere from the start. Within seconds you’re locked in, riding the wavelengths until you reach the dramatic breakdown. Innellea teases the main riff back in with dexterity, and we’re immersed in the second half of the cut, which maintains its adventurous spirit.

‘Pathological Passion’ could be an apt description of Innellea’s love for making music. This one has a steady beginning, leading into a solemn, melancholy melody. The emotionally-driven core gently unfurls to become all encompassing. Innellea really tells a story with this cut, switching things up around the two-minute mark, before the energy of the first half returns in abundance.

Finally, ‘The Arrival’ takes us into the mystical depths of the Middle East, with Arabian rhythms and instrumentation. A euphoric, trance-esque breakdown guides us into more exotic programming, it’s warm, energising and life-affirming. A perfect demonstration of Innellea’s versatility and his desire to channel a range of influences into his productions.

Up with his first foray on the label is on-the-rise talent, Tal Fussman. On the cusp of real big things, the Tel-Aviv via Berlin-based producer has already seen his tracks be charted by top-of-the-line jockeys and selectors including Dixon, Âme and Trikk. His debut incursion on Stil vor Talent, “Underneath The Surface”, puts on offer three versatile cuts, each of which displays a distinct and fascinating facet to Fussman’s richly hued musical realm.

Breaking the EP in, the title track puts forth a cold and frothing EBM signature. Built around pared-down samba-like syncopations and gridlocked drum architectonics, the track lays maximal emphasis on fluctuating layers of raucous machine spurts and sizzling portamentos geared to set the sound system’s circuits ablaze. 

“Protocol” then swerves onto further epic Italoid territories with warehouse-sized ambition, arpeggiated synths and piano stabs merging into an iridescent symphony of sorts, before “Truth” takes an unsuspected U-turn towards breaksy atmospherism and sleek, RnB-laced soulfulness. The perfect departure tune to an EP that finds Fussman showcasing the impressive breadth of his artistic palette.

I met the french DJ but based in Leipzig/Germany "Tinou" and he plays that kinda groovy tribal techno genre, which I liked and he`s a vinyl DJ only, which I don`t meet so often either. He is also a part of a collective which plan daily underground parties. Nice to have him here and hope you guys check him out and you will enjoy his set. Have fun!

Tinou is a french DJ. He moved to Leipzig, Germany, 3 years ago.
He is part of the french soundsytem Cannes A Son Family, axed on thowring illegal raves in the west part of France. He started collectionning records in December 2017, time where he got his turntables.

He plays a mix of groovy, hard hitting, high energy sound, sometimes joined with heavy acid, sometimes with core/tek element.
