Now 'No Eyes' has been remixed by English duo Just Kiddin. Kicking off in a similar fashion to the slow-burning original, the remix suddenly bursts into a frantic array of melodic piano riffs in between Jaw's soulful vocals and a haunting overlay. DJ and music producer LEAVE from Essen is ready to bring his new EP into stores on June 23rd, 2014. The production is titled "I Didn't Miss You" and will be released via his own record label which he founded about a year and a half ago: Emma Music. The young graphic designer talked to us about how he founded his own record label, how he invented the name in kindergarten and what is up next.

Am 23. Juni 2014 bringt der Musikproduzent und DJ LEAVE eine neue Platte in den Handel. Der Wahlessener veröffentlicht seine Nummer “I Didn’t Miss You” auf seinem eigenen Label, das er vor knapp eineinhalb Jahren ins Leben gerufen hat: Emma Music. Mit uns sprach der junge Grafiker über die Gründung des Imprints, wieso der Labelname im Kindergarten entstand und was demnächst ansteht.

trndmusik: Wie kam der Name Emma zustande? Steht hinter dem Labelnamen eine Geschichte? 

LEAVE: Die Geschichte ist eine ziemlich lustige, wo ich jetzt, 2014, immer wieder drüber schmunzeln muss. Jeder kleine Junge hatte doch mal seine erste Kindergartenliebe: Bei mir war es Emma. Natürlich ist es schon etwas skurril, dass dieser Name viele Jahre später plötzlich so eine große Bedeutung für mich haben wird. Da für mich aber von Anfang an klar war, dass dieses Projekt eine tiefgründige Verbindung zu mir besitzen soll, entschied ich mich für diesen Namen. Die Sandkastenliebe vergisst man eben nicht …
