Fledgling London based producer, Copy Paste Soul, returns on Exploited. 

Copy Paste Soul's music is set to truly take off this year. Among remixes for Photek on Photek Productions, Deadmau5, Audiojack's Gruuv label and Alex Barck from Jazzanova on Sonarkollektiv, Copy Paste Soul has a lot in store for 2013. Copy Paste Soul makes forwardthinking Deep House full of bouncy basslines and lush chords which has been supported by Skream, Annie Mac, T. Williams, Modeselektor, Disclosure, Justin Martin and Tensnake to name a few. Since his latest output on Exploited, he has played high-profile gigs including Carl Cox's Revolution Night at Space Ibiza, Bestival and o2 Academy Oxford for Annie Mac's Presents Party. Faustix & Imanos have a knack for transferring vocals to new places and spaces and on their debut Jeffree's EP titled Echoes, they've done just that. LIPS' tune "Everything to Me" is a guilty pleasure you'd hear while shopping with your girlfriend but be too embarrassed to Shazam. The Faustix & Imanos remix lands it into a perfect space of female acid pop that we can't seem to take off of repeat.

Next up, the duo work dark magic to bring you "Echoes feat. Data Romance," an original tune where Data Romances' haunting vocals meet a side-chained electrical surging bassline. Her simple yet deep voice somehow creates amazing contrast with the harder synths in the drop.

"Run Run Run The Trap" is a re-imagining of the Dragonette original "Run Run Run." It reminds me of what La Roux's music would sound like if she grew up in "The Bluff," boasting dark pop 80's pop with frantic hi-hats and 808 kicks.

While K-Pop might have replaced J-Pop in the affections of the West, it hasn't daunted The Japanese Popstars - who are Northern Irish after all. Recently joining the stables of Bedrock, where they're personally fed and watered by Digweed before he tethers and settles them for the night (probably), last single 'Disconnect/Reconnect' was a statement of intent. Turn Me Out

After almost a years hiatus simple returns with it's first EP of 2013 from Leeds starlet Youandewan. Ewan Smith has been making a name for himself with his deep, dozy and ever so slightly melancholy take on house. He's already slated remixes for Maya Jane Coles, Midland, Dusky & the elusive Gerry Read as well as original eps for Hype LTD, secretsundaze he now makes his simple debut with his 'What's the Deal?' ep.

Youandewan's 'What's the Deal?' EP highlights Ewan's attention to detail whether that be with melodic flourishes on title track 'What's The Deal' or whether it's a more patient groovier number like 'Just Words' which adopts the less is more approach, focusing on a classy bassline, a few drawn out synth chords and sweet vocal snippets. 'You Don't Know' combines Ewan's trademark vocal snippets once again but this time with Mike Huckaby esque synth licks, this is probably the deepest jam on the ep and Ewan's not afraid to take a nod to those from the D(etorit). 'You Tired' rounds off the ep, and illustrates Ewan's deft touch by combining a heavy, groovy bassline and lush, subtle piano flourishes.

Youandewan is only getting going and this EP perfectly showcases his sound. With gigs this summer at Hideout, Unknown and Echo festivals, Trouble Vision as well as several appearances at our very own Aus and simple parties we think 2013 is going to be a fine year for Ewan.

Must Get There marks the debut for Majestique on Eskimo Recordings. The original is situated in that wide area we call “disco” and is backed with remixes by Martin Dubka and Drop Out Orchestra.

Bursting from the digital underground is Majestique, a Dutch production duo that grew up in the mid eighties. After they ran into each other, they discovered a shared passion for strange chords, running arpeggiators and dusty drum computers. A passion that is possibly programmed in their brains by influencers like Jean Michel Jarre, Vangelis and Giorgio Moroder. With sudden access to unlimited analog machines, it felt like a higher power was trying to tell these guys it was time to create something timeless in a digital era where music is consumed so quickly.

Must Get There is taken from the upcoming Eskimo compilation that will be out after summer.

Fresh from his epic and celebratory ‘Focus On’ album, Daniel Dexter returns to Poker Flat with a bang. This release pulls together some blistering remixes of tracks that originally appeared on 'Focus On' - supplied by some of the hottest producers from the underground.

First up is Uner, the young Spaniard whose work on labels such as Cadenza has been turning heads of late. His remix of Dexter’s 'Why So Serious' is a bomb – driving Tech House with a big room feel that will be flipping dancefloors upside down for the rest of the summer.

David Keno also works some magic on 'Storm' – another stand out track from Dexter’s long player. Keno’s elegant touch with melody and rhythmic complexity takes 'Storm' in a new direction - resulting in a piece of music that works equally as a floor burner as it does in a listening context.

Kollektiv Turmstrasse have been building a unstoppable juggernaut of buzz over the past few years, and with their Blindbird remix of 'Birds', it’s easy to see why. The German duo pull out this devious slice of deep Electro/Techno that is as assured as it is weird - a true must have for the heads.

The legend that is Ian Pooley doesn’t disappoint with his version of 'Night Away feat. Geraldine Roth', taking the original and twisting it to his own brand of taut, focussed tech-house.

All four remixes are available via the 12inch from Poker Flat. Digital customers can also pick up the originals of each cut, split over two parts.

Brynjolfur hails from the Faroe Islands but now resides in Copenhagen. From a very young age Brynjolfur learned how to master the piano and has been fascinated by electronic music. He finds his inspiration in warm, deep acid and old school disco sounds as well as spacey atmospheric moods.

I Love You is Brynjolfur’s debut on Eskimo and we absolutely treasure it. A Copycat & Martin Brodin have teamed up and deliver a breathtaking slow jam. As we hoped for, Swiss duo Pharao Black Magic shift up a gear and take things deeper in their electrifying remix. And how glad we are to welcome Peter Visti back on Eskimo. He displays his signature sound once again in his mesmerizing rework of I Love You.
