Exploited continue to expand on a variegated catalogue with a collaboration between artists Diar Storm, Lost Boy 1984 and Play Paul (Crydamoure, Kitsune). 

Based in Essen, Germany, Diar Storm is a singer / songwriter and producer whose sound carries a certain melancholy present within the more greyscale strains of 80s electronica. Here she teams up with regular collaborator Lost Boy 1984 who channels his experience in film score composition (he produced the soundtrack for the movie ’Glanz, Gesocks and Gloria’ by Gerrit Starczewski, which features himself in the movie alongside DJ Hell, Wolfgang Flür (Kraftwerk) and Lars Eidinger) and - armed with his trusty 808 - casts his futuristic gaze over the recording. 

The track is given punch, guitars, synths and some adornment courtesy of Play Paul who, speaking on the track said 'I immediately loved that sexy, groovy, depressive mood that made me think of Sheila E and Prince....definitely in my Top 3 as a producer after 25 years in the business'. 

Together, the trio presents a modern form of Dark Wave Electro that is indeed, equal parts stroppy and sexy; a duality held dear by the European Wavers of the 80s.  

'Everything So' emits cathartic steam as vibrant synths burst with bittersweet chords and jagged staccato tones. A sawtooth bites away under a snare-heavy drum kit while Storm's imperfect vocals inject a certain humility into the recording.

Acid Youth returns to Elephant Gait with a new EP, "Devil in Mr. Jones," marking the 10th, jubilee, release on the label.

Mr. Jones embodies the ego of modern human, greedy, cold-blooded, heartless, driven by an unyielding pursuit of personal well-being at any cost. To him, nothing else matters. He must get what he wants; stepping over people's heads, trampling their destinies, destroying this world if necessary. Once he does, there will always be another goal to strive for.
However, we remember: almost everything we accumulate, we take from someone else or from nature, often giving nothing in return. The world is full of this ego and it's time to rediscover what really matters.
Everyone could face their own Mr. Jones at some point; the question is how to remain a human being. 

"Devil in Mr. Jones" is a three-track EP: the title track is deeply rooted in EBM, "The Future" marches forward with an acid groove, and "Before The Sun Will Rise" takes you on a late-night psychedelic journey.
The sound is shaped by iconic machines such as the Roland TB-303, Arp Odyssey, Roland TR-808, Roland CR-78, Syncussion, Moog DFAM, and Oberheim OB-XA, blending raw analog textures with hypnotic rhythms.

Mexican band Lecumberri, have unveiled a captivating remix of their track "Medusas," courtesy of the renowned producer and DJ, Theus Mago. The remix, released through Duro Label, offers a fresh, pulsating take on the original, showcasing the band's versatility and Theus Mago's signature sonic.

Lecumberri, formed in 2022 by Trashnikova and Dalí Lantzeta (both members of the influential Mexican Indie/Post Punk band Hoffen), have quickly established themselves as a force to be reckoned with. Their music, a vibrant tapestry of 2000s Mexican influences and late 80s Belgian sounds, is characterized by its irreverence, irony, and a bold fusion of genres.
