Berliner-based electronica live act GHEIST put forth two attention-grabbing tracks in their third release for Exploited, enlisting the aid of fellow producer and singer-songwriter Bayker on vocals.

Eponymous track Salvation kicks off proceedings, showcasing a deep tech exploration with late night dancefloor appeal. The original exposes a gradually unfolding piece, boasting a clean cut rhythm section and a methodical, straightforward structure centered around minor chords. 
Last Night In Paris reveals a dark brooding arrangement, as reflective vocals add a layer of mystery to the foundation of pensive pads and warped synths. What ensues is a contemplative atmosphere, that is mesmerizing as it is dance-inducing. 
Venlo is a nice last minute bonus addition strictly aimed for the dancefloor. 

GHEIST kickstarted their young career last year and since then have grabbed attention from DJs and Media all over the place which led into a busy touring schedule including upcoming gigs at Razzmatazz Barcelona, Watergate Berlin, Sonne Mond Sterne Festival and many more club and festival appearances.
Very strong beginning for one of our new acts on the label Exploited.

After a few releases on labels including Sincopat, Suruba and Tenampa, Valencian DJ/producer Upercent has now teamed up with AMAM for the L’Egoisme EP, four tracks of synthetic yet soulful tech-house, plus two different remixes from fellow Spaniard Javier Orduña. 

“Farandoulo” kicks off the EP with an urgent shuffle, evoking a sense of tension as the sinister synth snakes squeal their way out of the dungeon. Then, Javier Orduña – following his own EP for AMAM in March – swoops in and stretches the track like saltwater taffy across a gyroscope, with a melty atmospheric quality that’s contrasted by the beat’s geometric interplay. Then comes the title track: “L’Egoisme” bursts in the room, demanding to be the center of attention as its title would imply. There’s a sense of unpredictability thanks to the playful percussion, on top of which the melody shows off its new dance moves. This one’s got a nice haircut, too. 

On the second half, we are treated to the unreleting “Life Again”, anchored by a chugging groove and strange combinations of chords, arpeggiation and miscellaneous debris swirling around – the break at the halfway point will suck your eardrums into the maelstrom it creates! “Rainy Mood” saunters along for an introspective change of pace, bolstered by techno-pop touches that would tickle Robert Moog’s fancy. Finally, Javier Orduña returns once again for another remix of “Farandoulo”, this one much rougher, a hungry monster ready to gobble up whatever victims dare to show up on the dancefloor.

Superfriends is the new label from Andhim; a label that captures the pair’s charm and ebullience, not only from their past releases but also serves as a stylistic trajectory to date; one that has moved from gentle eclecticism through infinite fun into a refined and contagiously unique electronic sound.

Andhim have over the last decade cultivated an exceptionally loyal fan base of musical lovers and peers alike; that continue to crave the German pairs musical agility and action packed forays.

Superfriends is far from a obvious tick in andhim’s career “to do list” but a strong clue that they are capably poised to continue their anti-intellectualism approach to everything they do.

The international colours of andhim continue to reach all corners of the dance floor focusing less on the narrative and more on the big and fun– Superfriends is set to be an outlet for the production/DJ duo’s most ambitious ideas. An independent exercise in only the finest studio output from themselves but those that inspire, influence and impress.

The first release “Tosch EP” is pristine in production and devoid of existing label noise, where powerfully subtle melodies can sit side by side with immersive dance floor heavy electronic music.

Guiddo's second single on Luv Shack Records is also getting the remix treatment.

"Dream Your Dream" is a laid back Balearic chugger featuring the Austrian House crooner Louie Austen. The remixes come curtesy of Japanese producer Kez YM and Lee Stevens & Lukas Poellauer. 

Kez YM delivers a dense and atmospheric deep house rendition, with a super funky baseline to boot. 

The Lee Stevens & Lukas Poellauer version takes "Dream Your Dream" even closer to the beach, with ethereal strings, dubbed out percussion and harmonica melodies, only to jump into a Balearic house frenzy every now & then. 

The Kez YM dub version rounds of the package nicely, being an opportunity for the less vocal friendly djs and listeners.

Rekids return with an ethereal release from unknown producer Patrick Conway featuring Hessle Audio’s Pangaea on remix duties.

Syncopated percussion introduces ‘Sandy Lane’ whilst ebbing pads and metallic nuances add to an overall shadowy aesthetic. ‘Orbit’ then sees intricate breaks, ghostly synths and murky melodies join
piercing vocal cries before Pangaea delivers a cacophonous remix combining crunchy drums with effervescent notes and a pulsating low-end.
