Berliner-based electronica live act GHEIST put forth two attention-grabbing tracks in their third release for Exploited, enlisting the aid of fellow producer and singer-songwriter Bayker on vocals.

Eponymous track Salvation kicks off proceedings, showcasing a deep tech exploration with late night dancefloor appeal. The original exposes a gradually unfolding piece, boasting a clean cut rhythm section and a methodical, straightforward structure centered around minor chords. 
Last Night In Paris reveals a dark brooding arrangement, as reflective vocals add a layer of mystery to the foundation of pensive pads and warped synths. What ensues is a contemplative atmosphere, that is mesmerizing as it is dance-inducing. 
Venlo is a nice last minute bonus addition strictly aimed for the dancefloor. 

GHEIST kickstarted their young career last year and since then have grabbed attention from DJs and Media all over the place which led into a busy touring schedule including upcoming gigs at Razzmatazz Barcelona, Watergate Berlin, Sonne Mond Sterne Festival and many more club and festival appearances.
Very strong beginning for one of our new acts on the label Exploited.

Up next on Joyfriend: Unknown rookie Odd Only with their first output. JOY003's a-side "Harakiri" is a monster - nothing more nothing less. Its simple rolling bassline and euphoricly hypnotic synthline are just born for the dancefloor. The deeper part of the EP is called "ForFour", a track with a more laid back pace, though still full of tension - a harmonic track from beginning to end.

The next Chapter centres on label artist Javier Orduña (Moda Black, Culprit) who steps forward with a very personal work for the Erretica EP.

The Spanish producer wears his heart on his sleeve, combining technical skill with an emotion and openness that he brings to bear on both originals on the package.  'Erretica' balances a dancefloor groove with tenser, contemplative synth lines while 'Theo Is The Parra' is a compelling, dark and atmospheric deep house cut which combines the soul of Detroit with jazz influences. Editions (remixes) for the EP come in the shape of our Debut Transmission from JEUDI label mates Bambook & Quina, and tech heavyweights Marc DePulse (Noir Music, Einmusika) and ACUMEN (Get Physical, Leena). Each offer a different shade of musical colour, ensuring the 23rd Chapter offers a full and rounded set of tracks.

With his Erretica EP, Javier Orduña presents the fruit of his rich musical world and conclusively proves that sensitivity and strength can go hand in hand.
