Exploited’s semi-regular “mini compilation” series continues, with Shir Khan collecting together a quartet of new cuts from the label’s extended roster featuring Psychodelico, Piemont, James Curd, Freeform Five/Tuff City Kids.

About the artists:
1. PSYCHODELICO
Psychodelico are a white duo from NY. Anthony & Martin met at University in the early 90’s. They immediately synched together and decided four years later to open a video rental store on the 5th Avenue.
The love for the 80’s and the rise of digital convinced them to hold tight to the VHS Library and start collecting all sorts of analogue machines knowing that one day for some reason it would have paid back.
For the last 3 years they have been discovering and enjoying their vinyls and watching with friends hundreds of old music video tapes. 
After getting inspired and writing some great music in the dusty basement that once used to be their store they finally decided to approach the dream label.
The story continues with Psycodelico’s first single “Sex On The Phone” getting signed to the mighty Exploited! A pure 80ies Cocktail: Human League and Depeche Mode Stylistico.

2. PIEMONT
Made up of long-time friends Frederic and Chris, the pair first decided to hook up and make music together back in 2007 and, since then have released on techno labels like Monika Kruse’s Terminal M, Area Remote, MBF and SKINT.
Piemont’s sound is best described as organic techno. Their music always comes stuffed with a sly robo-funk and is built in many rich layers. Their preference for ambient sounds, melodic lushness and abstract electronica makes every track different from the next - for evidence just listen to their recent 'Jack my Records' for Exploited, or earlier classics like Carbonat and Back Smoker.

3. JAMES CURD
After dropping "Red" and "I See Lights" on Exploited as Jimmy & Fred, the unstoppable Adelaide-based producer James Curd has teamed up with JDub (lead singer of the Greenskeepers Project) for a new collaborative track called “To Cool For School”. Anyone remember "Buffalo Girl" from 2008 featuring James Curd, Derrick Carter and JDub from 2008 on Greenskeepers Music? "To Cool For School" sounds like a proper update with illmatic verses and styles for 2014.

4. FREEFORM FIVE/TUFF CITY KIDS
The return of Anu Pillai’s Freeform Five has also coincided with a minor resurgence in electro clash – we’re not quite at 2007 levels yet but Five’s latest single (released earlier this year on Exploited), ‘Brandy Alexander‘ is pointing to something similar.
Pillai doesn’t really do simplicity, and ‘Brandy Alexander‘ sees the producer back to his most daring concocting a mixture of rolling acid lines, clash-y vocals and twisted basslines – and with an unreleased remix by Tuff City Kids 'Brandy Alexander' is back in safe hands.
Based just outside of Frankfurt Tuff City Kids is the alias for production duo Gerd Janson, boss of Running Back and long time DJ (Resident DJ in Panoramabar and Robert Johnson) and Arto Mwambe member Philip Lauer. Besides their far-reaching and esteemed solo careers, Tuff City Kids have provided remixes for high-profile artists such as Azari & III, Tensnake and Ali Love and released original EPs on Delsin and Osgut Ton sub-label Unterton. For Freeform Five's "Brandy Alexander" they delivered a stylish Italo-Disco-Update on Exploited which has been roadtested several times at Panoramabar Berlin and finally sees a release.

James Curd and Luke Million, what a pairing! After dropping an incredibly groovy tune “Yellow Magic” on Exploited as Luke & Jimmy, the unstoppable Adelaide-based producer James Curd has once again teamed up with fellow Aussie producer Luke Million (of The Swiss), for a new collaborative track called “Say The Words To You”. Featuring vocals from Nah Man!, aka Yeah Boy, the side project of Parachute Youth’s Johnny Castro, “Say The Words To You” is filled with Million’s signature synth lines and some serious French Touch vibes, and it’s every bit as delicious as you’d expect from this pair. "Say The Words To You" pulls inspiration from the era when Chicago and Paris were walking hand in hand delivering the best house music in the world. Joyce Muniz's funky, percussion-heavy DJ sets - covering everything from Afro beats to tropical tech, electro, and house - have already garnered her a huge international following, and Pulp Fiction, on Exploited Records is a direct reflection of her "serious sweating on the dancefloor" style. The title track is melodic and lighthearted, a party jacking house track with subtle pop moments. Tech-ed out chords and the smooth vocals drive the excellent "Morning Love," and "Pray for Peace" is full of futuristic afro-tropical house vibes. The jacking, warm "Back Down" also stands out, and "New In Town" rounds out the release on a stripped-down, soulful deep house note. Recommended.

This is a very special track for me. I Have to confess that after 10 years producing music i felt something that i never felt before. I was deep crying when i was working on the track at some points and many times .Every time i was closing my eyes and listening to it was just too good the feeling and my eyes couldn't resist. I really dono what happen but it was really touching me in a really special & different way .And every time i hear and play i see the energy on the people i can feel the same like when i was producing i'm not getting tired of the track just like i do with the others. It took me one year to feel confident and post it here so i can share and maybe who knows... someone is gonna feel the same. Usually i'm not really happy with my tracks but this one i just love it .Its a very simple track that's has some kind of brasilian vibe on it. Its all made with the body all the sounds its full of details in a good headphones is really possible to understand all the details from the mouth whispers talking singing. All the body sounds were sampled from barbatuques from brazil is really amazing their projects .And My idea is to keep this project with body music is so organic so fun and smooth to listen. I' ll post as soon as i have a new body mixes. This is just a demo of it Plans is to make a debut album with this concept .Hope you all like. Thanks Gabe.

Homework from Amsterdam are back on Exploited. The guys have been busy with touring and remixing the likes of Duff Disco (Dikso), David Keno (Noir Music), Andre Crom (Off) and S.K.A.M. (Gruuv). With another EP lined up on 2020 Vision, this one is their follow-up EP on Exploited entitled: 'Conversation Piece'.

Homework - unlike their lower case counterpart that serves as the agony of school kids everywhere - are responsible for shaking up house music in a big way in 2010. Calling their “Fissa Tune” EP on Exploited Records a “breakout record” might be an exaggeration because it’s hardly the duo’s debut. However, the title track showed a comfort and skill for transforming a Romanian traditional oboe song into a full body shakedown jacking house track adorned with guttural yelps, and “I Got One (You’re It)” loops a warm soul diva vocal into the kind of siren song that could seduce any kind of dance floor. It was one of those EPs where you couldn’t even choose a favorite because they’re all so good. Following it up with an equally heralded EP on Made to Play and a big, wild, often unexpected remix package on Exploited, Homework (comprised of Zip &amp; Tom) succeed in something many other people haven’t lately; making dance music that’s equally satisfying for your feet and brain. Pretty excited to have James Curd on Exploited.
James Curd began his DJing career in Chicago when he was only fifteen years old. Being underage, Curd was snuck into events to play at raves and clubs he was not legally allowed in. He played along side some of electronic's most respected acts and DJs.
As 'Greenskeepers' Curd released an array of music on Derric Carter's Classic Records. He made his mark on the dance music world by infusing swing music and Chicago house to invent the term G-Swing, being short for Greenskeepers Swing. Around this time he also started a record label by the name 'Greenskeepers Music'.
Curd released four full-length albums under Greenskeepers. 
Under his solo name James Curd released on DFA, Permanent Vacation, Eskimo and Bang Gang to name a few. He has remixed Hercules & Love Affair, Juan Maclean, Groove Armada, Poolside, Flight Facilities and DJ CAM.
For his debut on Exploited, James hooked up with synth wizard/producer Luke Godson from Adelaide, Australia. Godson is one half of disco futurists "The Swiss" and also the man behind the cheeky tunes of "Luke Million". Together they are Luke & Jimmy. 
On 'Think You Know' James features Annabel Weston from Australian band 'Archie'.

This time from Hamburg based DJ & Producer Doctor Dru whose debut on Exploited was the collaboration 'Juicy Fruit' with partners Adana Twins. 
With 'The Voice of Dru' Doctor Dru created a modern take on a classic italo track which - within a few days - became a Beatport Top 10 Hit and was sitting comfortably on Deephouse No.1 for weeks. 
The Track got love from Solomun, to Pete Tong, Soul Clap, Tim Sweeney and many more. 
It's been the break-through joint for Dru. 
Since then he is touring the world and gained much love for his adrenalizing sets. 
Whenever he drops the 'The Voice of Dru' people go crazy. We are happy to finally present Dru's second solo-release on Exploited.
