Ultra Knites return with their first release of 2014, the follow up to their debut from late last year which gained the duo much credibility and recognition from some of the scenes leading players.  UKR002 finally sees the release of 'Extacy', a track that has been in demand for over a year having been used as a 'secret weapon' in the duo's own DJ sets.  It has been described as genius, but the formula is simple - a stabby rhodes riff acompanied by an infectious vocal hook while a cleverly filtered pad weaves in and out until eventually, the filters open and the track erupts.

It is about time these mofo's got back to work in the Flapjack Records kitchen of kickin!  With a long overdue return to the grinding stone, Chicago's own South Of Roosevelt is back with some tantalizing new recipes on "The B. G. & E. EP".  Bicuits, gravy, and eggs never looked so good, until the SoRo boys put some spitshine on the skillet.

The sure fire biscuits of this hot plate is a get up and boogie bumper called "The Whistle Song".  This has Chicago swing flavor all over it.  If the sauce ain't the boss then you probably are the kind of person who salts their food before they even taste it.  No need for extra flavorings as these biscuits are jam packed flavor savers.

Now if you ain't tried SoRo's gravy, then you ain't lived.  This ain't no canned gravy.  This is straight up southside sassage gravy that is nothing but "In Your Face".  You can pour this on any mix and just watch as it slides right through your eardrums.  It's so damn boss that peeps just be ordering cups of it to drink like you would a soda pop.  Warms ya soul!

"Ain't Nobody" gonna be messin with my eggs is all I'm saying.  Sunnyside up, over easy, scrambled, it don't matter...this ain't no egg beater filler, this is some real deal free range farmland kickin chicken eggs straight for the heartland of the Midwest.  Just one drop of this will fatten up any omelet more than a dozen grade A supermarket bleached eggs will.  Ain't there ain't no added omega 3's, cuz this jam is the alpha and the omega biznotch!

So "What About" a bit of something special to compliment your biscuits, gravy 'n' eggs?  You can have coffee, tea, OJ, or you can just go lick milk from a cow's teet.  I prefer you sip on a bit of what counts.  "What About" having a nutrient slam packed glass of bump that leaves you hydrated, quenched, and does your taxes for you.  The South Of Roosevelt boys have you well sorted, so don't by shy, pull up stool, and grab an order of "The B. G. & E. EP".  Your BM's will never be any more regular.
