Né dans l'Est de la France, co-fondateur à l’origine du nom Bass Couture ; Otist Riddim recherche des méthodes sonores pour décrire la ville et son environnement.

Ses représentations utilisent et répondent à son expérience quotidienne souvent en tant que point de départ, mais aussi d’aboutissement.
Valeurs urbaines comme inspiration ; finesse, précision et authenticité sont neutralisées ; puis mises en perspective dans sa musique.

Otist Riddim essaie d’avoir une approche multi-couches des sujets, il aime impliquer le spectateur de manière auditive et croit en l'idée de la
« fonction » qui est formée dans une œuvre.

Il est particulièrement attaché au moment où la musique, l’espace, et le spectateur ne font plus qu’un ; le son peut alors devenir mouvement physique.
