The all-star team brings us the single "She Was On My Mind", a deep percussive groover that builds up the tension throughout, mixed with powerful synths and melodic vocal work: a feel-good track that keeps the flow going while providing a classic soulful feeling.

A native of Bologna, Italy, Fabrizio is heavily influenced by the pure techno sounds from Detroit, and after a brief spell as part of the illegal rave scene in Bologna, Fabrizio has focused on the more legitimate clubs and also on his skills in the studio.

Releases and remixes for labels like Minus, BPitch, Highgrade and WYS! have been very well received, and in 2007, Fabrizio, alongside Idriss D, set up the Memento Records label, home to releases by the likes of Argy & Alex Piccone, Okain, Mirko Loko, Lee Van Dowski and both Idriss D and Fabrizio, under his Roger pseudonym.

After almost a years hiatus simple returns with it's first EP of 2013 from Leeds starlet Youandewan. Ewan Smith has been making a name for himself with his deep, dozy and ever so slightly melancholy take on house. He's already slated remixes for Maya Jane Coles, Midland, Dusky & the elusive Gerry Read as well as original eps for Hype LTD, secretsundaze he now makes his simple debut with his 'What's the Deal?' ep.

Youandewan's 'What's the Deal?' EP highlights Ewan's attention to detail whether that be with melodic flourishes on title track 'What's The Deal' or whether it's a more patient groovier number like 'Just Words' which adopts the less is more approach, focusing on a classy bassline, a few drawn out synth chords and sweet vocal snippets. 'You Don't Know' combines Ewan's trademark vocal snippets once again but this time with Mike Huckaby esque synth licks, this is probably the deepest jam on the ep and Ewan's not afraid to take a nod to those from the D(etorit). 'You Tired' rounds off the ep, and illustrates Ewan's deft touch by combining a heavy, groovy bassline and lush, subtle piano flourishes.

Youandewan is only getting going and this EP perfectly showcases his sound. With gigs this summer at Hideout, Unknown and Echo festivals, Trouble Vision as well as several appearances at our very own Aus and simple parties we think 2013 is going to be a fine year for Ewan.

We’re back with a special release from Einmusik. This time Samuel Kindermann is telling you something about those real summer-nights, those few mysterious and magic hours filled with sounds, colorful lights and beauty all around. “Nyx” is one of the songs on the “Oceans Bottom Pt.2″ EP. It comes up with an endless dreamy hook, the slappy rhythm is gracious and the groove is full and checkless. Bit by bit the headstrong sounds direct you deeper into this track and you’re hands will be up at least.

Backside we find “Oneiros” – It’s a very coltish track with a haunting melody. It’s humming in your ears, that’s what it is made for. Such an easiness coming up while hearing this song, you’ll get a bit gushy and your feet won’t be able to stop. Fresh from his epic and celebratory ‘Focus On’ album, Daniel Dexter returns to Poker Flat with a bang. This release pulls together some blistering remixes of tracks that originally appeared on 'Focus On' - supplied by some of the hottest producers from the underground.

First up is Uner, the young Spaniard whose work on labels such as Cadenza has been turning heads of late. His remix of Dexter’s 'Why So Serious' is a bomb – driving Tech House with a big room feel that will be flipping dancefloors upside down for the rest of the summer.

David Keno also works some magic on 'Storm' – another stand out track from Dexter’s long player. Keno’s elegant touch with melody and rhythmic complexity takes 'Storm' in a new direction - resulting in a piece of music that works equally as a floor burner as it does in a listening context.

Kollektiv Turmstrasse have been building a unstoppable juggernaut of buzz over the past few years, and with their Blindbird remix of 'Birds', it’s easy to see why. The German duo pull out this devious slice of deep Electro/Techno that is as assured as it is weird - a true must have for the heads.

The legend that is Ian Pooley doesn’t disappoint with his version of 'Night Away feat. Geraldine Roth', taking the original and twisting it to his own brand of taut, focussed tech-house.
