<p>Its been a hectic summer as always for MOOD boss Nicole Moudaber. Her relentless touring schedule has seen her ruling the dancefloors of every continent. On the release front she&#8217;s fresh from unveiling her astonishing rework of Carl Cox&#8217;s Kommen Zusammen, which has proved to be a festival favourite throughout the summer season. For her new release she returns home, for the first time since April&#8217;s See You Next Tuesday ep, with the devilishly groovy The Whippin&#8217; I&#8217;m Dishin&#8217;. </p>

<p>Nicole&#8217;s original sees her take a step back from the full throttle techno-tilt, creating a relaxed-yet-locked groove that swings throughout whilst kicking up a gear in its final third. Ramping things up in style is Gary Beck, who pairs the the primitive rolls of the bongo&#8217;s against a relentless and industrial soundtrack before tech-maestro Robert Dietz takes over to inject a little more bass-weight groove, expanding the kick drum and dancing on the Hi-Hats.</p>

Featuring heavily on most of Drumcode’s shows due to his impeccable DJ’ing, Bart Skils is back with a new EP flexing his signature rolling sound and hooks. Caressing from one track to another, the use of pads in this EP and using uneasy sounds to build tension in each track. The swelling bass within each track manoeuvres the tracks into dark after hour’s territory with the help of the subtle percussion.

Alan Fitzpatrick makes a triumphant return to the scene-leading imprint this August. From Germany the mighty Ron Flatter joins the Motek family with his EP 'Youmai / No2'. Steeped in groove and drive ‘Youmai' is a perfect peak time floor thriller. Warm pad pulses and bass pushes weave their way across the arrangement whilst a strong synth lead and high flourishing effects dance around, creating strong and unexpected focal points. ‘No2’ is a raw sounding, full on piece of dance music. Live percussive textures add serious depth to the production adding to the driving, gritty bass pad and relentless hi-hat patterns. Remixing this release we welcome back the fantastic Namito & Stevie R, and from Copenhagen rising stars Leman & Dieckmann. Namito & Stevie R have brought their style to ‘Youmai’, adding a darkness and relentless feel to the track. Constant builds in arrangement drive the track on, all based around the constant vocal loop. The remix is finished with trippy lead synths elaborating and rising on top of the core track foundation. Leman & Dieckmann have given their take to ‘No2’. A spacious, reverb filled track that carries serious weight. The duo have made their version slower in feel than the other tracks on this release with subtle groove interplay between the percussion and synth parts, drawing you into their musical vision.

Treading throughout the infinite oasis of cultural electronica since 1995,  DJ/producer and Mood Lounge night club owner - Shahrokh - presents his exquisite original mix of atmospheric house and lovestruck synth-driven jams.

Sharokh's stand-out point is his eclectic blend of influences from his Iranian childhood and German upbringing; a concoction many DJs can't offer. He's gone on releasing on labels such as Black Flame Records and Caus-N’-ff-ct Records, and his distinctive approach that caught the attention of artists such as Jazzanova, Carl Craig, Hans Nieswandt, DJ Deep, King Britt, Charles Webster, Peter Kruder and many more. He's also the esteemed nightclub owner of Mood Lounge, a club that once hosted artists such as Âme and many of the previously mentioned. He usually spends the summer time in the southern territories of Europe - and was this year already part of the Sonar Festival Off-week in Barcelona. You can catch him at the upcoming ADE in Amsterdam and within the bounds of the party circuit in Ibiza.

Guilhem Poincignon aka @CheshireCat est un producteur et Dj parisien. Composant exclusivement sur MPC, ce matou prolifique a pour maître mot «le groove» et propose une house aux confluences du jazz, de la funk et du hip-hop. Après quelques premiers remixes pour Wagram et Sprëe Factory, Il participe à la création du label Pont Neuf avec la sortie du titre «Love Cuts, Heart Kicks» sur la compilation Habemus Paname. The original version features the honeyed vocals of Kat Vinter, but on her remix, Muniz’ fellow Brazilian ANNA turns in a weighty slab of trippy lights-out techno, complete with heavy kicks and rattling percussion.
Speaking about it, she says, “The original is deeper and has a strong focus on the vocals, I wanted to make it more underground, still keeping the deep vibe but with a different kind of energy.”

Amsterdam dwelling editor par excellence Em Vee took the solo reigns on the inaugural Lumberjacks In Hell - and truly excelled with a great reimagination of "Miss You". The second release on the label sees the German share duties with Spanish edit demon Rayko, with the Rare Wiri boss hogging the A Side. First up is an expert rearrangement of Candi Staton's cover of the Bee Gee's standard "Nights On Broadway" which strips the track of its orchestral leanings to focus on the groove! Following this is a meaty take on a classic, with Barbara Keith's cover of "All Along The Watchtower" reinforced with some bottom end bump. Em Vee spreads a special disco version of Alma Lee's late 70s Philly delight "Gimme Your Love" with an extended intro that fully displays his edit talents.
