This young, up-and-coming producer is one of the VIVa family’s favourite artists coming out of the Italian scene, releasing music with Lapsus, Octopus, Materialism and recently an incredible EP for Get Physical Music. 

With tracks signed on VIVa MUSiC and VIVa MUSiC Limited already under his belt, Adapter has delivered 3 original pieces for iVAV Recordings that are locked and loaded with huge drums, pounding bass and an undeniable groove - from the hypnotic synth of the title track “Aurora” and captivating vocal sample of “Paranoid”, to the rolling snares and frantic percussion of “Binary 85”. 

Remixes come from Rework (Visionquest, Items & Things) and Marc Molina (080 Records). 

Rework’s slick new take on Aurora retains the spacey synth lead but mixes in a smooth bassline and tight pad work to create a fantastic, atmospheric remix. Marc Molina submitted 2 versions of his Paranoid remix and we couldn’t turn down either of them - the “Warehouse Remix” features echoing drums and sweeping FX that, combined with the original vocal sample, create vibes suited for huge floors. The “Underground Remix” is a more subtle affair but not for lack of punch; the track’s foundation is in it’s driving, pulsing low-end, with arpeggiated stabs cutting seamlessly through the bass weight.

The honour of the first release on Exploited Ghetto was earned by our Italian friend Mennie. Having earned praise for his collaborative work with Bambook, his debut solo release for Exploited Ghetto featured a tune with airy synths, a layered, catchy percussive groove and mellow early hour vibes.
Today he returns with a brand new brace of tracks, and having spent many nights working his MPC and JX to the max, he has created the awesome 'H.A.P.P.Y. EP'. So press play and enjoy the smiles for miles...

It documents a moment in time when DJ Haus’ quietly pioneering dedication to the underground is celebrated in suitably reverent fashion.

The Utopia Project ‘File #3’ (Mak & Pasteman Remix)

A-side ‘Tone Music’ builds with a melodic structure of electronic droplets as rattling percussion does the driving. A n injection of techno wonk stabs blended with pitched down RnB sampling, ‘Tone Music’ is a sonic patchwork of futuristic beams and bleeps, synth shards, and shakers.
Moving into crackling, dubby terrain, ‘Lo To Hi’ is a spooky affair with solid claps and a nifty little bassline groove. As warped vocal snippets float into the atmosphere, the swirling pads serve to envelop the senses and build a sense of tension and drama up to the break.
In keeping with the slower vein and bathed in warm, ethereal pads, ‘Doldrums’ builds with distorted synth melodies and chopped up vox until the rise of drums, and unexpected drop of heavy bassline throb along with subtle twists of acid swerve into the mix.

As proven in music history's tracks records, every now and again, amongst thousands of new bands, DJ acts and solo artists, there comes one extraordinary musical force, which changes the course of action for the rest of us. Usually they set a new trend, or a trend within an existing trend, then create a new wave of trends gaining them a huge amount of screaming fans and an ever so growing large number of wannabes and copycats.

franskild is exactly that and more. It is a collaboration between two Denmark based Swedes (tricky, I know, but try and keep up), Love Ojensa and Tim Söderström. When these two get together, collectively they create an utterly fresh and new branch of deep house that is as current as it possibly can be. They are strongly influenced by the blissful sounds and magnificence of the early 80's house tunes, mixed with early '90s break beat French wave, tipped with mid-00's contemporary garage and combined with the highly influential Jacking house.

Their upcoming EP will be released August 2nd and includes the tracks "eden" and "shards". "shards" has already been massively pushed by MixMag, with over  10,000 play in 3 days and growing by the minute.  One of the countless secret ingredients which makes this song stand out from the rest is the perfect blend between a melancholic sound scape and dream – like, happy, seductive and haunting vocals (performed by Love's sister, Rebekka) which leaves the listener wanting more... and more...

franskild's musical empire is rapidly growing since they are about to team up with MAYA JANE COLES, a London based DJ and producer. She's been voted one of the most influential DJs by Rolling Stone, and has already remixed acts like MASSIVE ATTACK and GORILLAZ...

Conclusion? franskild have more than enough ammunition to reach the top of the music food chain, create a new movement in the house scene, and achieve all this to a steady, uniformly accented four-to-the-floor beat.
