At it for a while now, Shir Khan has built up a heavy reputation around his Exploited imprint, among some of the more elite champions of all things deep and funky. The range of DJs regularly championing Exploited releases is at the very least a great excuse for you to dig into what this label is all about. 
Early support so far by Noir, Tensnake, Pedro Winter, Citizen, DJ T, Miguel Campbell, Adana Twins, Agoria, Sonny Fodera, Moodymanc ect. 

Their latest in the Secret Gold series is as good a place as any to start. The EP features four standup tunes: “Give It To Me” from PJU feat. Josh Caffe & Robert Owens on the vocals, Antilope (from Belgium’s Libertine Supersport Crew) with "Body Trouble", Kevin McKay (from Glasgow Underground) with "Everythings A Dream" and hotly tipped newcomer Will Clarke with "Gunna Give U". File this under hella fresh.

1. About GIVE IT TO ME by PJU
Whilst out clubbing one night in London PJU bumped into London DJ & club host Josh Caffe and Cedric of Azari & lll. Before long they all ended up at an after party. They talked to Josh about singing on this track they had been working on which was inspired by this classic Chicago house track called ’Donnie’ by this obscure act 'The It’.
Josh jumped on the idea. Said & done, whilst in PJU's west London studio recording Josh's exhilarating vocal, PJU played Josh the ’Donnie’ track which had this haunting soulful vocal which they discovered was by a certain Mr Robert Owens. Josh flipped and said he's good friends with Mr Owens, let's get him on the track!! A month later Robert Owens was in the PJU studio. He delivered, on the spot, exactly what the track needed. The result is the track "Give It To Me" now featured as the first song on Exploited Records Secret Gold Compilation Vol 6.

2. About BODY TROUBLE by ANTILOPE
Handling softnesses with the delights until the delirious rhythms shocks, 
the reflection of a tainted essence of sincerity and devotion, Belgian Antilope finds inspiration in a changing reality, with the will to reveal one ounce, even infinite, of hope and unity.

3. About EVERYTHINGS A DREAM by KEVIN MCKAY
While exchanging remixfiles for his act Mia Dora for an upcoming Exploited Release by Human Life & Anabel Englund, Kevin (the man from Glasgow Underground) got in touch and sent through some of his original material. 'Everythings A Dream' got immediately signed by Shir Khan. 

4. About GUNNA GIVE U by WILL CLARKE
Will Clarke just got back from a tour in Australia and this track always turned heads down with a large response from the punters: With the first drop being quite a four to the floor chugger to the break down having a more euphoric feel with the pitched vocals and organs.

PJU Feat Josh Caffe & Robert Owens - Give It To Me | Exploited

The edit master returns for round two. There are plenty of sultry, downtempo numbers on The Revenge's forthcoming album 'Love That Will Not Die' – including, somewhat incredibly, a guest spot from Sister Sledge – but “Another Light” pushes the clutch to ‘full sleaze’. The track evokes the black leather, flashing red LEDs and vague sense of danger encompassed within any number of 80s nightdrive fantasies. It’s a smooth ride, and it sees release 30th March on his own Roar Groove.

Following on from previous full-length albums, ‘Love Lights Music And More’ and ‘More Music, Lights And Love’, Leeds-based duo MAM – aka Miguel Campbell and Matt Hughes - are back to present their third LP, ‘Garden Of Eternal Summers’. Scheduled for release on via Outcross Records on 4th March and comprised of 14 tracks, it’s an album born out of late night jam sessions with guitars and synthesisers.
 
Leading with dreamy, psychedelic synths is lush opener ‘Digital Emotion’ before second track ‘Memory Touch’ switches things up to tell a lighter, bouncier tale of it’s own.  ‘Street Boutique’ introduces a grittier bassline underneath a crescending old school synth melody, whilst ‘Love Shock’ eases the pressure with a retro guitar riff set against summery keyboard chords. ‘Future Mystery’ continues this sun-kissed theme, with soft, echoey keys complimenting a bass guitar riff, before a harder-hitting bassline and drums add an extra dimension to the breakdown midway through the track.
 
The final two tracks ‘Organic Voyage’ and ‘Double Chance’ act as the sunset on MAM’s summer garden of an album, with evocative saxophone samples and airy synths bringing the album to a hazy, relaxed end.
