Six months after their last installment, Shir Khan and Exploited drop another hot to trot collection of disco edits. As usual, there's much to excite, beginning with the familiar guitar solos, Rhodes keys and dub disco pulse of Antilope's "Singing Ghost" rework. Death On The Balcony keep up the reverb and delay-laden dub disco theme on "Addict For Your Love", whose rubbery groove, twinkling pianos and heady vocals have been expertly rearranged to fit house dancefloors. Finally, Matpat go loop crazy on the thumping disco house cut "Only You" which sits somewhere between Rahaan and Soundstream. Excellent stuff all round.

Boston DJs Charlie Levine and Eli Goldstein go by the name of Soul Clap and are pretty much household names in the dance music cosmos. Their funk-fuelled music has an infectious vibe that travels with them everywhere they go, and if you've ever had the delight of dancing at one of their parties, it'll only take you about four bars to be hooked on their effervescence. The pair's next release comes via Brooklyn’s Bastard Jazz Recordings in the form of So Sedated feat. Dayonne Rollins, a sampler taken from the forthcoming Tempo Dreams Volume 3 compilation on the label. It's low slung goodness and its here for your ears only.
