Paving the way for the new era of DJs, Lexer’s ascension to deep house superstar has been rapid since turning his hand to production in 2012, with the likes of Bakermat, Oliver Schories, Klangkarussel, Alle Farben and Tom Novy all supporting the German’s signature sound. Joining the dots between Europe’s hottest cities, the promising trailblazer can reminisce back on a packed touring schedule with performances from Amsterdam to Zurich, Berlin to Paris - not to mention plenty of festivals appearances in between. 

Now with his impending release on Kittball, Lexer delivers yet another reason for industry leaders to take heed of his talents. Melodic breakdowns and a pensive hook are the reasoning behind the title of ‘Thoughtful’, a track that emits sunshine and solstice with every lasting note. The rumbling kick drums of ‘Rusty Heart’ make for a heavier number, whilst playful bass stabs, charming melodies and glorious strings make for a testament to Lexer’s rocketing talents as a producer.

First up on remix duties is Kittball favourite in.deed, whose rendition of ‘Rusty Heart’ introduces a fuzzy bass hook and sultry atmospherics to a positively upbeat cut. Pulling apart the original and reconstructing it into a completely different creature, Ron Flatter then ties up the release with a stripped back and understated renovation that saunters along amiably.

. Fun fact, my girlfriend is in Zhu's music video for this song! She received an email, and was casted for it shortly after i made this remix. Small world, right lol? She's the girl who dances in the night club...look for her! :)

. Rumor has it that Zhu wrote this song for Lindsay Lohan after their romantic get away to Paris. 
 
. According to the grapevine, Steve Irwin wasn't actually killed by a stingray. The ongoing conspiracy argues that he passed away while filming a documentary on the wild cocaine model. The footage consisted of Steve following the models in their natural habitat, while carefully examining all of their animalistic habits. Sadly, while the filming was in progress, its believed that Steve was trampled in a stampede of cocaine models fighting over kale chips & cigarettes. The surviving crew knew that if Steve's discoveries became public, the cocaine models would retaliate. So the footage was destroyed, & the story was hidden from the public forever. 

(*This is just a joke. I have no intentions what so ever of offending anyone, especially my Australian fans. Steve Irwin was, and still is a legend. RIP.*)

«New Age Disco» act Sirens Of Lesbos made their debut with the summer ode «Long Days, Hot Nights». An instant summer Ibiza champion featuring the poetic and catchy lyric «You are the summer of my life», the song has been favoured by radio stations and DJs all around the globe. Bearing a mystical, sun-drenched video (http://youtu.be/gEFK3GKJV0s) – directed by Camilla and Marc (Pet Shop Boys, Battles, El Guincho) and featuring the gender-bending top-model Tamy Glauser (Givenchy, Kenzo) – to further support the track’s message, «Long Days, Hot Nights» was an absolute must listen in 2014 and still is about to unfold it’s mainstream potential.

Now the Aegean super group delivers their follow-up single: «Ecstasy». And no, it’s not an homage to the infamous 90s drug. The song that, according to Sirens Of Lesbos, sounds like a «rainbow coloured waterfall in the forested mountains of Tahiti», reminds us of those rare moments, where we feel one with the universe and tells us, where to find Shangri-La.
The release comes with a "b-side" containing a slow mo'ish caricature of an 80s pop anthem that never existed. It goes by the title of «Flowers».
